  2. I had one. Very punchy, pretty heavy and very harsh sounding. I wouldn't recommend it. Ive had a few Orange cabs and didn't really like any of them.

  9. Add SOLD to the title of your original post. Thus will close the thread.
  10. Jo bought a Barefaced One10 from me. Paid quickly and arranged for his sister (who lives locally) to collect. All very easy ans id happily trade with him again. Cheers
  11. Geoff saw my wanted note for a Barefaced SuperCompact and sold me one at a great price in fantastic condition. He even waved me in to his drive in torrential rain. Nice chat and a pleasure to deal with.
  12. Hi Paul! Thanks for the detailed feedback and the 'Bravo!', appreciate it! Interesting point about the mids on the Elite slap tone. I'm using Elixir Nanowebs and the Avalon U5 profile on my Kemper, so it definitely has that modern 'bite' which can sometimes feel a bit mid- heavy in a solo context. I'll try to dial the mids back a touch for the next recording to see if it rounds out the slap sound. As for the Music Man - you nailed it. With that Solid Rosewood neck, it's a very 'personal' instrument and definitely deviates from Leo's original Stingray blueprint. It's a bit of a love-it-or-hate-it tone, for sure!
  13. Unbalanced TS. Can't think of any keyboards that used balanced, however handy that would be. Thats for all time, so from the moog modulars* in the 60s up to the latest. Even with other things changing, it is one thing you can rely on (apart from those tiny sockets on modern modules with the mini jack midi and output) * to be fair, I guess moog got a bulk discount on jack sockets with the modulars.
  14. Roland VB99 in fantastic condition. I bought this for a project that never happened. The pedal comes with a a padded case all the cables and manual.

  15. You make a very good point...
  16. You're welcome. Several colors but I don't know why they don't make white to go along with the black ones, instead of blue, pink, red, yellow and green.
  17. Likewise. I have a soft spot for Consuls, we drove to NE Spain in a Consul - 4 adults & 3 children (those were the days, no seatbelts or max occupancy )!
  18. Haz - Labs envelope filter pedal. The pedal is in fantastic condition and comes with it’s original box.

  20. I guess it's just the difference of how two different speakers, one being your FOH and one being your IEM, produce the same sound. The extra digital desk channel suggestion above is a good one, however in the absence of that, there may be a compromise available whereby if you like your tone out front, you could make do with a slightly less pleasing sound in your ears in the knowledge that the audience are hearing you the way that you want them to.
  21. Gig in a small East Yorkshire village at a smallish pub. A bit of a change for us as we’ve grown accustomed to larger venues, still it was a nice change. It was a nightmare on set up, plug points in the worst places and the unforgiving tiled floor….fortunately we displayed the Yorkshire ‘it’ll be reet’ philosophy. All went well apart from them turning the lights right down and we hadn’t put all our lights up. Cue a fair few fretting errors from me as the monitoring was pish and I was using the Sandberg Lionel that doesn’t have front dots….
  22. That's a 'Farnham conversion' by Abbott's of Farnham, a famous coach-builders who spotted a gap in the market when Ford failed to offer an estate version of the Zephyr & Zodiac. AI Overview: Zodiac Farnham conversions were estate car, or station wagon, variants of the Ford Zephyr and Zodiac (MkII, MkIII, and MkIV) saloons, coachbuilt by E.D. Abbott Ltd in Farnham, Surrey, between the mid-1950s and early 1970s. These rare, high-quality conversions featured extended roofs, unique rear tailgates, and sometimes bespoke GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) components. Abbotts sourced brand-new cars direct from Dagenham, then did the conversion to Ford standard, re-using as many components as they could. That tailgate looks odd because it's actually built around the original rear windscreen. The completed vehicles were then sold through official Ford dealers. I had to buy a Farnham simply because it was the only classic car that would accept a 7/8 DB.
