  2. Great little mono synth (although can do paraphonic) with an analogue delay. This is the Reissue, NOT the V3 or even the original. Sounds fantastic and comes boxed with USB lead and ribbon lead if you want to connect it to eurorack. I’ve barely used it since I bought it as I’ve been concentrating on playing piano and organ. Excellent condition.

  8. selling my incredible 1975 Musicman HD130 amp. Bought this back in 2021 and had a flight case made it for it straight away. Was serviced just before I bought it as well. Sounds amazing.

  10. Great cabs these. I have one that I use in a loud rock band with 2 guitars......don't be fooled by "it's just a 2 x 10"....it's no shrinking violet! 👍

Weight TBC. £750 collected in Glasgow, any play test welcome. £775 posted in the UK (24hr delivery) will be well packed and secured for postage. Thanks, Chris

  13. If you cannot or don't wish to screw rubber feet to your cab, there's an alternative that is much cheaper than isolation platforms ands similar. Just buy one of those large heavy rubber tiles that are sold to playgrounds to place around swings and slides to stop kids injuring themselves if they fall. I bought three - one for each PA sub and one for my bass rig - for about £40 the lot. Each is half a metre square and they do a great job
  14. Paul bought my Comfort Strapp and he was a pleasure to deal with all the way - First Class Basschattery!
  15. Thanks for the suggestion anyway though. I was hopeful it would let me solve the problem without having to do any more of my horrendous soldering...
  16. Great (in many ways!) fuzz, lots of controls (Overdrive tone, Crossover, Fuzz volume, Blend and volume) so can really tweak the sound. I’m running 3 ODs/Fuzz in parallel and the only thing that pushed this off the board is its size, bigger than a wah! Dodgy switch replaced by Owen Electronics a while ago and the finish has a few knocks but it’s functionally sound. No box, no manual, no power supply just this huge (in many ways!) pedal. Sent by Inpost £2.59 (£50 cover), £7.59 (full cover).

  18. X4 has a single 4" driver. Double 4 has two, plus an auxiliary radiator and double the output power. That suggests it will be more capable. I've never tried a X4, but I like the Double 4. I'm occasionally tempted by one for practice, but I have several PJB 4x5 cabs and one of those is compact enough, so it would be a bit of an indulgence for me to get one. Are you able to try them side by side? If not and you definitely want one or the other, I'd be inclined to go for the Double 4 because it offers more for not a lot more money.
  19. Thanks @jimbobothy! That's my assumption too, that it will be a good sound for FOH to deal with. If you do manage to get a Alma Comp onto your board, let me know how that goes. That double comp combo should really tighten things up nicely 🤘
  20. I have a couple of old Wem Westminster amps and love them for bass. I saw Richard Hawley on the Coles Corner tour last night and he was using both a Dominator and an earlier Watkins Westminster (with onboard tremolo) on stage. Sounded great. These amps are very capable and last for ever!
  21. Oscar Schmidt by Washburn Guitars. https://www.oscarschmidt.com/instrument-type/autoharps/ 😎
  22. I should also probably have mentioned that it comes with the GB Shuttle 4-button footswitch. And the soft cover.
