    At rehearsal last night we played Hit The Road Jack. I stuffed a wristband under the strings, turned both tones right down and used 100% neck and about 30% bridge pickup. The closet I've ever got to an upright bass sound; even changed how I was plucking to suit.

    It’s got the original EMGX in it now . I changed the pickups to see if I could get a fatter sound . The pickups didn’t make much difference but the preamp with the mid range control did

    Thank you….its been a journey with this one! I even had to customise the pickguard to show my brand logo, a lesson definitely learned for next time.

    Hi all, I’m selling my Barefaced Six10 with Roqsolid cover as I just don’t use it enough. Most of my gigs provide backline and full P.A. support, and in the two years I’ve owned it I’ve probably used it no more than six times, so it’s time for it to go to someone who’ll get more use from it. The cab itself is in excellent condition. The cover is a bit tatty in places, but still perfectly functional and presentable overall. Collection / Meet-up: You’re welcome to collect and try it out in PE8 (Barnwell). I’m also happy to meet halfway within a 75-mile radius for petrol money.     I played some nice dry single note stuff like that last night. Well it was kind of like that once I had hard quantised it. Like that without the tone.

    Actually £232.08 new, and out of stock. If I had any bass which needed a new preamp this would not still be here. These are where it is at.

    Interestingly I was browsing in Anderton's just today and tried a few basses. Long story short I couldn't wait to get back home to play the gear I already own. Basically I agree with you 👍
