I have pouches (think they’re neotech) on my straps which were originally intended to hold the packs from my Line6 G30 - and they still do - but now also work for ‘bug’ style systems by just extending the transmitter with a patch. I’ve got some that I made with inline sockets and also just some inline jack-to-jack connectors which are arguably just as good if not better. All you see is the patch coming out of the pouch on the strap - can be any system you like in there.

What would people recommend for a wireless from bass to pedalboard? I want to put the wireless on my strap with a pouch not dangling down like a clagnut. -
Barock Project - Live Voyager. It says “recorded at Trading Boundaries” which means we were there and I’m currently listening out for wifeys distinctive shriek … she’s on every band recording of our gigs she was at so no reason to think she wouldn’t be on this as well 🤣 That said it sounds like a bigger crowd/room than TB so maybe it’s an amalgamation of gigs and audiences Also Jason Lindberg and The Other Side. Their most recent album showed up on Apple Music and liking their brand of Swedish prog.

Absolutely stunning. Can't ask for much more!

Ricky 4003 and a Mike Dirnt into the input set Hi Currently - Tuner, Ampeg pre amp, Sansamp then the compressor I don't know if I should lose the pre amp and then work on the Sansamp

The PJ lionels and the full scale ones do have the P pickup the other way round. They do sound a little different. It makes a lot of sense - tighten up the EA and give a bit more bass on the DG. Leo had a habit of doing things the strange way round - the strat and tele bridge pickups are really angled the wrong way too. My strat has the bridge pickup the Hendrix way round and it's a slightly different sound - more twang on the lows and more fullness on the highs.. Probably don't notice it when the drums kick in though!

Not sure, I know he has a website as well as the Reverb shop, I guess it might be better to contact him directly through his site if you’re after a trade-in, but I don’t know. -
I totally understand your point of view concerning the size, but sometimes it's preferable to have the full 88 keys keyboards, especially if you play some organs or pianos parts, just saying.

Which bass? Is its output hi- or lo-Z? Where in the chain you want that effect? I have fuzz/dist pedal first after the bass. I have two (well, three) pedalboards, one for both bass output types. I love a X-over, because the lowest bass stays intact and powerful.

LA Audio high quality active DI box, very solid construction; comes with an instruction leaflet - which is worth reading since the box is deceptively versatile! This works off an 18v rail so can cope with high or low level signals. Power via phantom from your mixer or 2 x 9v batteries Usefully it has a +20db switch to increase the level of low output devices and with 1M ohm input impedance is compatible with piezo pickups The Input will work with Instrument or Speaker levels ('Pad' switch is for speaker level), isolated XLR output for your mixer and a 'link' output to take the signal on to an amp or cab A separate unbalanced output is available as well as the balanced XLR

Excellent solid and versatile active DI box from Canford Audio, only selling since I have three of these It comes with the instruction leaflet Inputs for Instrument or Amp output. Output jack for Amp input or speaker cab alongside. Balanced XLR output to mixer on the reverse. Instrument input 1.8M ohm impedance - so no loading of amp input or pickups Phantom powered off the mixer XLR or by 9v battery

A useful single channel line level isolating transformer for removing hum loops from PA, Mixer etc in a very solid metal case Input on either XLR or 6.3mm Jack - balanced or unbalanced Balanced output on XLR or 6.3mm Jack Switches for ground lift and phase reverse. The third switch provides either unity 1:1 or a 2:1 ratio tap for long cable runs There is a small circuit diagram on the top to remind you what all the connectors and switches do! Quoted frequency range is 20Hz to 25kHz at line level Dimensions 120 x 44 x 90 mm

This is a very tough, but relatively lightweight (7kg) 4U rack case. Very solidly built, with two butterfly catches to hold each end piece in place and moulded, recessed handles There is a shallow version, but this is the deeper one with 46cm between the front and back rack strips (just over 50cm front rack strip to back of case) Overall external size is 55cm wide x 23cm high x 61cm deep Rack screws included Pickup from Uxbridge area, or I'll courier 48hr for £13

I bought this very well upholstered Gator gig bag (current retail £135) for my Guild Starfire bass, but although it fits, its a bit tighter lengthwise than seems sensible, so this has barely been used. It is fairly obviously sized for a Gibson 335 guitar, but will also fit a flying V or a short-scale bass that's a fraction smaller than a Starfire Loads of padding, loads of pockets and a waterproof cover (in pocket 6 on the back, I think - depends how you count the pockets) The padding at the base of the bag can be removed (its on velcro) to give a couple of cm extra space - the quoted overall internal length is without this extra padding fitted Pickup preferred, but I will post it, although I haven't worked out what that would cost, let me know if you're interested and I'll get a price. Internal size: Overall Length: 46.1" (117.09 cm) Body Length: 25.0" (63.5 cm) Body Height: 3.5" (8.89 cm) Lower Bout Width: 17.3" (43.94 cm) Middle Bout Width: 15.4" (39.12 cm) Upper Bout Width: 13.0" (33.02 cm) Exterior Dimensions: Length: 47.8" (121.41 cm) Width: 18.3" (46.48 cm) Height: 6.9" (17.53 cm)

Nice one, they all look decent. I'll look into them in more detail. The IEC socket isn't a deal breaker. I'd prefer it, but it is more that I find it generally a sign for everything from DJ mixers through to multi-fx and keyboards that they've been made with more robust longevity for gigging/roadworthness in mind. I would like 88 keys in some ways - especially for home use, so that isn't a deal breaker either but what puts me off for live use is that extra size and weight (I play some quite packed pub areas and need to transport it in a VW Polo). At the moment, I've found I can get by with 61 keys and octave buttons but 73 keys would be better especially for splitting the sounds, 88 just feels a bit unnecessary for my use.

If you want to have real good demos, watch Stu Harrison at Merriam Music as his demos are really honest, not like at Andertons where they are just yelling and jumping everywhere and touching all the buttons just because they are there.
