  2. I made one of this type a while ago. It's ok, but not as good as the velcro (because less adjustable), and significantly more effort to make.
  3. The snare and hi-hat are the fundamental sounds of most drummers, but can be delicate to get, then keep, that sound. Not just the snare itself, of coure; the choice of batter and resonant heads are important, and, naturally, their tuning. We (The Daub'z...) had a support slot at our local pub, and had to share drums (lack of time and space...); it was an awful job. Luckily for me, the other drummer also played 'lefty', but his kit (a respectable Gretsch...) was not at all set up to suit either our repertoire, nor my way of playing. I used a jumper to muffle the snare's ring; it ended the gig with curved cuts where the sticks met the rim. Not an enjoyable evening.
  4. I can arrange this. Please let me know where are you located.

  6. Thanks 😍 Its difficult to capture on camera, it just looks black sparkle. Its more of a very dark grey, it goes Dark Green under certain lighting.
  7. I don’t know about the Bugeras but the Ashdowns & Peaveys will be fine. Of the two brands Peavey are virtually indestructible, Ashdown are UK based with great customer service so any problems they can sort so that’s where I would be looking to put my money.
  8. Flight Case by Thon, Made in Germany. Good condition, see pictures Outside dimensions (W x D x H): 48.5 x 32 x 50.5 cm Suitable for small combo guitar amps or other equipment.
  9. Ha, almost twins..... This had Warmoth Precision neck, beautiful 👍
  10. Chancers were around long before social media, right alongside those desperate to buy into their "too good to be true" claims.
  11. I remember it from the Ex Boyfriends gig you & Andy etc did in Hitchin, when I was the transport manager for the evening (as in, drove you both there).
  12. Wow. Morning already? Time really flies when I stare at the tendons in my forearms.
  13. In that case, never, ever visit the 'Den of Iniquity' thread on this hallowed forum. Just sayin'.

  17. It's the way to go for fretless IMO
  18. Very nice. There's a great clip of Ida Neilsen reviewing one of these on YouTube somewhere.
  19. Pictures to follow? 🤞
  20. My L2500 Tribute had very narrow spacing, probably less than 17mm. That's why I got rid of it, I prefer wider spacing. I've not played a USA but I'm led to believe that the necks on the Tributes are much chunkier front-to-back. Most of the Ibanez range seem to be quite tight, except for the BTB series.
