    I'm in the UK on the weekend so can ship for cheaper (and customs free) if anyone would like this for their Jazz Bass. Sounded great when I had it on an early '60s clone, but I'm thinning the herd and the parts collection.

    Really nice Ray 4. Low action and can go even lower. Nice satin field to the neck. Currently strung with rounds. 3.9 kg. Ray4 in great condition. The only Mark I can see is a small dink on the back. I’ve seen bases in shops in worse condition than this. Oddly, there are two screws missing from the control plate and no holes drilled. Must’ve come from the factory like that I was going to drill some and put screws in but never bothered. not sure how to price this, as prices seem to fluctuate but given the condition I’m gonna go for £300 delivered or near offer less if collected and can meet somewhere in Hertfordshire or Essex

    Two cabs in very good condition. Both 8 ohms so work as a standalone for small shows and rehearsals and as a powerful 4 ohm setup when used together. Perfect modular setup. Will consider trades for larger cab, Ampeg 610 or 410 or similar. New project forces sale.

    I heard a person playing some epic slap bass in Horsham yesterday afternoon but I was in a rush to get to an appointment so couldn't stop to watch. By the time I got back they had packed up and gone. A rare thing to encounter a busking bassist, especially of that calibre. Has anyone come across this particularly gifted busker before and knows who they are? If so could you point me in the direction of any Facebook/YouTube/other socials links? Many thanks 🙏 👍

    RE the fingerboard coating, we're going to use Osmo Polyx https://osmouk.com/product/polyx-oil-original/ Very easy to apply, and a nice middle ground between a full resin and a natural oil. @Andyjr1515 I just read about your experience using this stuff on a guitar body and I note your reservations - do you think it'll be suitable for a fingerboard - I don't mind having to reapply occasionally, and I'm not expecting it to be quite as glass-like as poly.

    Looks pretty good, despite the headstock, sounds great...but those Fender MIM prices are getting higher and higher and higher. Other than that, Charcoal Frost with the red tort pickguard is very nice and not exactly a typical Fender finish. I don't own a P bass and I don't buy basses without matching headstocks, but if Fender wants to send me one, I'll play it every day.
