  2. I was going to make this point too. I used to have an old Park valve head which was designed for bass but was bought off me by a guitarist who reckoned it was the beat amp he'd ever played though. I assume this is why the original Fender Bassman amps are so popular with guitarists too. GLWTS
  3. Today our new hospitality company have secured me tickets - . The package is the top package at Villa Park. You have access to a private lounge with reserved VIP seating. The package includes hospitality grazing stations throughout the event with multiple food options, drinks vouchers and the best seats, although it came at an increased price and I had to book the four remaining tickets on a table so have increased the thread price accordingly! as mentioned before - I’m happy to consider full/part payment in good gear😉
  4. Cast your net as wide as you can. I kjw at least on jam near me where things can get quite heavy (musically).
  5. Bought 2 bridges from Chris. After 15 years of swapping gear back and forth - it was as flawless as ever. Lovely bloke - beers soon x
  6. Do The Baht Man - The Simpsons
  7. Yes, I have, and I'm far from VIP, so...
  8. Hi Has anyone used a Two Notes Torpedo Cab M for EUB, I'm looking for an IR Loader really that needs to be able to handle impulse responses at 200 ms. There is the TC Electronics which looks great but I'd like a headphone out and the DI would be useful. Any advice or knowledge appreciated! Cheers S

  11. I hope I have described this cab correctly it is the Barefaced two twelve cabinet non tweeter and is an early issue of the cab. It is simply the best cab I have ever owned. Why sell it? Well I am not playing the big venues any more and am downsizing to a barefaced midget. This cab is in good condition only a handle has been replaced and it has lived in the Roqsolid cover since new and never driven to its full potential. The cover has a board inside to protect the metal grille.Collection possible from the Glasgow area £540. or 24 hr. Courier to mainland. U.K. £20

  12. How low a box could be built? Many units are pretty high, and would be not that easy to assemble under the board... or could the board be the power box as well?

  14. I bought a Wizard pup off of Chris, all went swimmingly, pup arrived today very well packed and in great condition. Thanks Chris.
  15. What a great track that is, it was my introduction to TW. Bring Back The Mark - BeBop Deluxe
  16. Reduced now to a silly bargain at only £600. May consider a trades and some cash my way (keep the wife happy!) for a class D lightweight bass amp that does 2ohms, or John East Retro deluxe.
  17. Now what's that?! Kool!
  18. Franc’s wild years. Tom Waits
  19. tbh, I’d probably put some good pick ups in it like I did with my old Squier P-Bass.
  20. Hi The Bass is a Status 4000. Bolt on neck, Resin body. 101 Eq system. A proper Status, but not a SII or Series 2
  21. Today
  22. I had this where after decades of playing I’d reached the end with bass… but not music. I took up drums. Then about ten years later bass entered my life again and I play in bands doing both. so maybe a change of instrument is in order?!
  23. I packed up bass about 5 years ago because I was bored of it. Started learning guitar, joined a band as their guitarist, and now after some rejigging I am the bass player. The first time I have played bass in half a decade and also the most excited I've ever been to play music. Maybe, like with me, it's a new outlet that you need to start enjoying it again.
  24. Thanks for your advice, but I am using gmail. Does anyone know any other way of contacting this company?
  25. Use coupon code baconpancakes for 15% off Grand Slampegg now through June 1. Probably saves about £60 overall once import duties are factored in.
  26. 75 m bolts! That's cool, where did you find them? From a submarine dockyard? The board looks cool, much cooler than with those printed parts.
