  4. that's one lucky guy dancing at the front with 4 young ladies all dancing with him. Respect. 😂 What colour is your Epi TB @neepheid at one point it looked purple ? Dave
  5. As title Labella Low Tension Flats for long scale 5 string. Cut for 4+1 but there’s loads (too much) left on the G so you could definitely put them on a 5 in a row Had them on a 34” Scale 4+1 for a couple of weeks, no gigs with them, they’re very fresh. Just like stingrays, flats sound great to me when other people are playing them but as soon as I play them I don’t feel right! Cost me £64 + £5 postage from Strings Direct 😭 £30 posted!
  6. Last one for a while, Zvex one off Concert Bass Mod Super Duper. This is a two channel boost (Super Hard On), the Jive is apparently based on the SHO. This one is voice for more low end and to try and replicate a Sunn Concert Bass. I went hunting for one after playing through a Sunn Concert Lead at a jam session. It’s a little hard to control in a video but I can set it on a board for a solid 3 sounds that then drive other pedals, primarily the Beta Mk1. Again like the Kasleder, I’d probably have this with a battery and just throw it down in front of the board when I fancy. If someone ever tells me I have backline of a big old tube amp, my rig will be just this pedal 😅 My main takeaways after all these little videos are how much I love the Punchline, Beta and Cream Pie and the amount of subtle flavours I can coax out of them.
  7. @Eldon Tyrell I think you are lucky to have a "not-for-sale" bass, meaning you've found something that fits you so well and also lucky for the Starr bass- haven't seen many out in the wild. It is fun to try new things even with the caveat of them most probably not becoming a not for sale bass....
  8. What a cracking gig last night with Nine Lives at the Balaclava in Fraserburgh. What can I say, it was busy and loud, with an audience who were bang up for a dance and a sing along. Can't really ask for much more than that. Genuine goosebumps moment when enough folk were singing The Cranberries "Zombie" back at us such that we could hear it over ourselves. You know you've had a great gig when packing up doesn't tire you out. Can't really say much more than that. Probably pay for this with a paid rehearsal next week - karma's a b!tch Gear was the Sire Z7 then the Epiphone T-bird into the ISO standard bass rig. Shout out to the Thunderbird, it was sounding epic last night, and I felt godly playing it. Oh and I got called "the coolest MF" by a punter last night after we finished. My ego happily accepts your compliment, sir! And have a bit of bonus video...
  9. Brilliant, great advice, thanks🙂
  10. Yep, turns out the account is private. Balls.
  11. Yes lots of Dave Gilmour solo material plus some Floyd ... It's an interesting project.. Guy Pratt is a great player! Showreel to follow shortly!
  12. hi all, i have a rock case 2u soft rack case , front zips are cream crakered free to anyone , collection benfleet essex ss7
  13. I do agree Tom, but without the original packaging, I'd be concerned about sending this out into courier world. I also much prefer potential buyers to confirm they are happy with the item in person before they purchase. However, if a buyer would be prepared to arrange collection by their preferred courier I could source appropriate packaging.
  14. Ive managed to find a guitar box, so delivery is now an option
  15. Can't blame the singer 🙂... and the mixer was a freebie from a mate of the guitarists. Vocal, guitar, bass and electric drums all through the mixer. We also recorded the rehearsal through the desk. Drums and guitar were clipping almost all the time. The FOH sound was showing the bass drum distorting all the time. I wasn't clipping, but was really low in the mix and farting periodically. This all showed up in the recording with the added bonus that one channel was louder than the other. We had problems first off with only one channel actually working, thought we'd resolved it but the recording said otherwise. Hey ho.
  16. Bought a pedal from Alex. Very nice transaction in every way, speedy postage, great packing. Cheers Alex!
  17. Completely agree, I didnt intend my post to sound critical of him in the slightest. I found the lesson very useful and offered to pay for his time regardless but he wouldnt take my money
  18. Hi! I’m near Bridgwater. Would you take £250 collected today?
  19. I'm pretty sure he is Rachel Bolan from Skid Row
  20. Very interested in this. A bit more info and / or vids would be nice. Are you covering his solo material as well. So many options there. Dave
  21. Ach its months away. After my plaster came off i rode my sports bike to the physio at the local hospital and she gave me a rollocking for it but as i explained my leg was encased in motorbike boots with 5 straps up the side. It was stronger than the plaster i had on. She wasn't happy but i had no other way of getting there. I couldn't walk to my nearest bus stop to get a bus as it was difficult walking at that time plus the walk from the bus stop to the physio was even longer. Dave
