    I've seen this around a couple of times and it's EXACTLY the kind of vintage bass I'd be after - one that's been messed around too much for a collector, but loved enough that it's been played a lot and worth customising. If I was still playing 4-string basses I'd love to have a go on it - could be a killer instrument. Or a mutt, but it'd be worth trying.

    This about honest ratings hits the mark. My tech friend says similar about how power is now rated at 1k, which isn't really honest low end. It requires more power to reproduce low end, so you get higher, impressive numbers.

    Simple covers band board. A pedal snake covers all connections: instrument chain to amp, send and return loop and 9v power.

    Bought new by me back in March, but it hasn't found a space in my workflow and therefore is being moved on. "A ‘parallel generative’ synthesizer combining two very different approaches to synthesis synonymous with the so-called East Coast and West Coast schools. It sports two sequencers, two oscillators and two envelope generators, along with a wavefolder and a novel (for Moog at least) dual-mode filter. Labyrinth feeds its two fixed-wave oscillators, outputting sine and triangle waves respectively, into a mixer section offering the addition of noise and a ring modulator. The mixer output is then faced with a voltage-controlled wavefolder (VCW) on one hand and a filter on the other. These two circuits can be placed in parallel or in series, in either order, and between them provide enormous scope for sound sculpting" £450 ONO plus £5.79 delivery. Based in Sheffield if you want to come collect it. Delivery will be 1st class recorded.

    Bought this fantastic bass last April 2025 brand new from PMT for £849. Will come with the manual and setup tools that comes with it. Bass is in immaculate condition. I'm selling as this is a filler bass and my Dingwall SP1 arrives tomorrow. Selling for £550. Bass weighs at 4.125kgs NO CASE as that's how I bought it brand new.     Blondie's Maria, and Madness's Baggy Trousers (and quite a few other songs I've played) have inversions of chords that will sound off if the Root note is played. Not wrong, just slightly off. A chord isn't a chord until the bass player says it is. 😉 Often guitarists will have downloaded tab that just includes the 1st inversion of the chord.

    I own the 4 string version , just superb basses this model. I like the neck in particular, ebony fret board stunning poplar burl on top with an ash and walnut slice sandwich , I think the EMG X and dark glass legacy pre are perfect together , you can get anything you want from the bass , I highly recommend this bass for anyone looking for a quality instrument capable of just about any tone your after.
