Inspired by both new and old, the AfterLife has FOUR different internal analog circuits that provide 2 distortions and 2 fuzzes. Providing plenty of headroom and a ton of gain, these four selections will cover all the distorted ground you’ve got. While the outside boasts a lone Mode selection knob and a Volume control, there’s more under the hood to this one. Internal adjustable trimpots are available for all four modes, with parameters like overall Volume, Bias, Gain and Filter. The enclosure is 100% Solid Aircraft Aluminum Machined. The artwork on the front and back is laser-engraved, and each AfterLife pedal is 100% hand-wired and hand-built. Collect from Chesterfield or add £5 for UK postage. Cheers! Sam

It's a guitar amp! It's a bass amp! It's a Bluetooth speaker! It's a recording interface! It's a multi effect platform and amp simulator. Absolute class piece of kit for someone who wants a small form factor, multi instrument, practice amp. I dabble in a bit of electric guitar too so this is a great little bit of kit. You can edit the effects and amp Sims from your phone, download other people's patches... It's fantastic. Reason for sale: I've got a Headrush pedal incoming and I now use my Fender Bassman as a guitar amp as well as bass amp so the Positive Grid is getting less use these days. All in very good condition, one small scuff on the corner of the amp Rolex which I've covered with gorilla tape. Other than that it's excellent. I also have the carry bag which are about £40 new. Grab the lot for £100 (amp, PSU, bag). Photos to follow... Collection preferred. Will post via Parcel Force at cost (estimate £12.50ish)

To my understanding the sound post should be gentle push fit ... enough to keep it in place while string tension goes on certainly - then it is clamped by the belly pushing in under that string tension. This bugger ... and it should be the right one as it was inside the bass ... was not even a push fit ... unless you jammed scrap wood under one end. Someone in the bass's past could have put a wrong sound post in - lord knows. But the post should be firm enough to be able to take all the strings off and it not fall over so long as you keep the bass on its back and don't bounce it around. I will be cutting a new one.

I found this guy on Youtube. He is spot on. Everything he mentions has happened to me and I can totally relate to all of his experiences, even though he lives and gigs in Australia.

Here we have an early CS Jass that I acquired a few years ago It was refinished in a deep pink colour, I took off the neck and could see that it was originally a Daphne blue colour I had my Luthier strip it right back and professionally finished in the original colour that it left the factory Luckily the neck stamp and pocked stamp were intact and you can still see some of the original colour in the pocket Binding has been applied to the outer edges of the neck Gold tuners, knobs, control plate and screws are original to the bass, new gold bridge installed I had the scratchplate imported from the states which is 62-66 period correct The pickups that came with it were not that great and not original to the bass so I have installed Fender pure vintage 66 ones The gold bridge cover came with the bass so I dont know if the original one got replaced at some stage I can just about make out the date as June 1988 or 89 A battery compartment had been added at the back and a toggle switch to the control plate as an active circuit was installed but the original circuit reinstated No case came with it but I will add a Fender moulded case to keep it safe for travel Weight is 4.4 Kg's A black strap and strap locks as pictured are also included any question please fire away

Fender Studio is new and free. I've had a little play and it seems pretty decent. Lots of drum loops to play with. You get some guitar amp sims too, so you can just plug straight into an audio interface, then audio interface into the tablet without needing other hardware. https://uk.fender.com/pages/fender-studio -

Maybe too simple for your needs and they don't make it anymore but cheap second hand and just records what ever you put through it and syncs to the app. It's not a looper. - Today
