  6. I am Hard. I am Brave. I shall defeat the Final Boss and absolutely not give into the temptation of the five-string Sandberg and EBMM Stingray that they display so seductively on their website. But if I do... hell, I was out in April! And I've bought the outstanding bits of electric string I need today, lest I fall in a heap in the new year. I. Can. Do. This. Err, I think...

  14. So....let's see if the Kawai ES60 would work for me: • I want to be able to listen to myself play, along with a YouTube track. • I want to be able to listen to myself play, alongside a midi track, and to record additional midi tracks, into Musescore. • I want to use the keyboard to send midi to my EMU Classic Keys Module (which has Midi In, Midi Out and Midi Thru. I have a Behringer UMC1820 interface with midi in and midi out (and 8 channels of line-in), plus a Kurzweil SP76 with "traditional" midi (two 5-pin DIN). Currently, the Behringer UMC1820 is doing everything that I require, and which I listed above.
  15. The pursuit for lightweight basses I presume. It could just be here - but you'll notice one of the first questions asked on a sale advert is "What's the weight?". Headless basses by nature, tend to be lighter. Even websites like Sweetwater show the weight of nearly every bass they have in stock so the buyer can choose the option that suits them. It's also provides a more modern look IMO. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea. Nice to have options though!
  16. selling my incredible 1975 Musicman HD130 amp. Bought this back in 2021 and had a flight case made it for it straight away. Was serviced just before I bought it as well. Sounds amazing.

  17. I split duties with this and my Dingwall at practice tonight. Sounded great! Bit of a different tonal flavour. The high control is pretty poky. I needed to keep that in check. Still very pleased!
  18. And this showed up today in the Netherlands: https://link.marktplaats.nl/m2343556955
  19. I’m very interested in the Thorpyfx version. I suspect it’s going to cost a touch more than the Behringer though!
  20. Well, Songster has it (if you mean All around my hat) https://www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/steeleye-span-all-around-my-hat-bass-tab-s250187

  23. An Innocent Man - Billy Joel
  24. I don't suppose anyone has a transcription (tab or score) for Steeleye Span's "All Around Your Hat" ? This would help me recover from having forgotten I'd promised to learn it at the band practice before the one we had tonight!
  25. I have an Alpher, incredible attention to detail and craftsmanship with these. GLWTS.
  26. Modded my VM5 with a split coil switch for a bit more of a P/J tone. Works pretty nicely, I must say. It switches between full humbucker and front coil.
  27. Hi Sarah, could i come and have a look tomorrow please?
