  2. Nice one Dave! Thank god for the Zoutons, eh?!
  3. my BasicallyTab site has been updated with PDF tabs in a new Tabloid format, which eliminates page turns and repeats, making for more accurate, and easy to follow tabs. Still has all the tabs from the previous site but now in individual PDF files, plus there are 5 samples available to download to see if the format works for you https://pcroppier.wixsite.com/bassicallytab
  4. I was a Backbeat early adopter. There are all sorts of portability advantages to a backbeat. But the big Bass Board with double drivers is where it is at for me. I want everyone to experience it. It is essentially two of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Douk-Audio-BS-1-Bass-Shaker/dp/B0F9KN762P/ref=sr_1_1?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.cGvkT4Fcj-j_XkgPZA9rxeDwx5B3hTFbRg06HA36tvxJa_STNGLFwG0AtNDRydZrICABWZ5dXGEtuxEjceJPAGSjujMONeFRw7x6ytx_Oi75cvWPtJDdm63ogH5qTe9JgGPMm9YKuJLmD6JlzDTI1A.OoCq2CWh8y3yrMx9n-sf0NxnkZaNL9wy7_NvMk6zVKM&dib_tag=se&keywords=buttkicker&qid=1763928883&sr=8-1&th=1 screwed to a board with a cheap amp driving it. It cannot be rocket science.
  5. Hi, Ive replaced the old Beatles bass book site with a huge resource of 860 high quality tabs from a varied range of artists. They're in tabloid format, minimising page turns and repeats. There are 5 free samples available on site, id love to hear what you think of the format, as for me it makes playing along, and learning the tabs so much easier.
  6. That bass has been sold (not to me)
  7. The neck specs are: 34” scale neck 38mm (1 5/8”) nut weight is 3.9kg (8.6lbs) cheers
  8. I'm impressed. I've not seen that move done with diminished chords. Top skills. But perhaps you didn't need to lift your leg after all? When the Lord Reigns, you only need the bus wiper?
  9. Finally got some time to work on this today! So a small finish update - my daughter and I tried to do the paint idea but she kept trying to eat the paint so we've abandoned that one.. I did however find some decals I'd kept from a previous project a few years back so stuck them on and I'll see how I feel about it after a few days. The string holder nut thingy is now fitted but the wood needs more shaping for a better flow

  11. And so to bed.
  12. Tempted by this... I'm in Wolverhampton tomorrow night, I can't get away, but if there's a possibility of meeting at my hotel (Park Hall) then I'd be very tempted indeed.

  15. Green Meanie... Luverly.
  16. Active Cort Arona 4, which was the short-lived bastard child bass spawned of Cort & Sandberg. These things came with Sandberg hardware and electronics (so I was told once) and has an open pore finish complete with genuine road-wear signs of use on the front above the pickups. I'm also led to believe they went to Germany first for checking before hitting the markets. It's a 34" scale bass with a two-octave neck, but looks like a medium or short scale with the reduced body size and slim neck. Very light too at 8lb (3.6kg) and only selling because I'm now so used to a p-bass the 24 frets confuse me 🙂 Price includes postage.

  18. Superb Mart. I know it will be going to a good home.
  19. Both boxed and in good condition. Always used with external routers and so I’ve no idea what the built in WiFi is like. It does work though. There’s have spent virtually all their life with me as audio interfaces in my home studio or recording at rehearsals. These machines are ideal to run as an in ear system too. There’s rack ears included for the XR18 and a decent 4U case to mount it in that can be had for an extra £20. Only reason for sale is I’m looking to get an X32 or Wing rack. Will post at buyers cost but would prefer collection and trial bromide Blackburn Lancs. Pics to follow.
  20. IIRC, the volume pot is a 25 kOhms linear type, so not fantastic in passive mode. My guess is that the pot is simply dead...
  21. I would love a proper Aria SB. Or for them to do their modern ones in left handed which they weirdly don't.
  22. Thought I'd ask in here before I ask the Gibson Bass groups. WD Custom Pickguards (Gibson) Ripper scratchplate.... still has plastic cover on I think. I bought this from the US for a project that never really got off the ground and now never will. Price includes postage.
