  1. Past hour
  2. The bit with no red under the pickguard isn't faded, the red never used to be sprayed in that area as it wouldn't be seen.

  4. It's EASY! I have one ready to ship right now (the very one from the demo video), you tell me your address, pay me, and I'll send it to you! 😁 I have tested it for days and days, works perfectly!
  5. It's actually got one 😁 it used to be higher. I will edit this into the description, good point.
  6. Cheers Alex.... 👍
  7. Lovely looking bass there Graham.
  8. Exactly what I thought. She may of well played a guitar through the amp instead of a bass ! That titting about on the fretboard doesn’t show an amp off for bass
  9. Tea in the Sahara - The Police
  10. This was on my board for a few years, never let me down but just fancied a change so I’ve got a boss chorus on the board now. The toneprint options make it a pretty versatile pedal, found myself mostly using the Duff McKagan toneprint. No original box for this unfortunately but will be packaged securely. Price includes postage in the UK, cheers
  11. No criticism of the playing except, it was all on the higher strings of a 6 string. Hardly pushing a bass amp.
  12. One word: Wagner!
  13. I can confirm this. The Enzo X was a missed opportunity for them to actually take some of the bass market; which is admittedly minuscule compared to the guitar market but…

  15. "Gatekeeper" is a nice word, it makes me smile because it's exactly what I feel when I'm talking about my double bass journey. There actually are "gatekeepers", they have never bothered me since I've never seen gates.
  16. Here's a pic of mine, just because it looks cool 😎
  17. As a bassist there is nothing more destructive to a band's sound than a drummer who overplays. Sadly we have probably all encountered them! There seems to be an obsession now on chops over more traditional (useful) skills such as time, feel and dynamic. I try to think of the patterns I play as being inextricably linked to the drums, which means that I am conscious of not falling into the same trap of overplaying. It's a tough one.
  18. Appreciate the response, looking more into the Morningstar UI and it seems fairly straight forward. Thanks for the help as always
  19. Amazing how the red has faded when not under the scratchplate.
  20. They would be alright if they stopped that AND kept their left hands away from the LH side of the keyboard.
  21. yes mate will do I'll try and get some of it recorded
  22. Interesting last night with the Fortunate Sons. It was in a very large rehearsal room so we could try out a new PA system. Each of us gets a little 12-way mixer so we can set our own mix for either an onstage monitor or an EIM (Only the keyboard player and vocalist have gone down this route). Guitarist tried being ampless, but wasn't happy with it. I'm, OK to go ampless but only for venues where space is at a premium... bear in mind a 12" monitor takes up as much floor space as my 2x12 vertical cab but doesn't support the PA. They were happy with my backing vocals but want me to be louder as sometimes I wasn't triggering the noise gate. As for my playing, I have most of the songs nailed but there are a couple I know I can do better.
  23. Please let us know how the gig went. We're interested!
