  2. When I'm Cleaning Windows - George Formby
  3. It would be easiest to use a thin carbon fibre plate/strip. Weighs nothing, is stiff, and could be taped to pickups (3M VHB). Can be removed if necessary.
  4. Tidied up a bit on here, I think that maybe part of this should continue as a private conversation while it is being resolved
  5. This is as hard-hitting as Lucinda’s songs, and to be frank it’s a wee bit too honest. But that makes it compelling reading, so if you like her music it’s a solid investment. If you don’t know who she is, consult YouTube immediately… Hardback, very good condition. RRP £20, yours for £13 posted. Now just £11.
  6. As seen on the London stage with Clapton this week! Deluxe edition - Played once, as new. Do You Get The Blues dates from 2001 - this is its anniversary reissue on CD with sleeve notes from the bluesmeister himself. Cameos by Lou Ann Barton and Double Trouble. Now £8 posted UK
  7. Pictures please, sharp ones. Do you have a DMM (Digital MultiMeter)? If yes, start measuring from output jack.
  8. The singers (most probably you all) sing very well! Kool performance!
  9. In its original meaning it meant looking at something at a deeper level, e.g. metaphysics is about the fundamental nature of reality, rather than how the physical world works.
  10. Agree. Best finish 👍
  11. Had to look up what that phrase meant! Apparently means: something that is self-referential, self-aware, or cleverly referencing itself or its own category. It often implies a level of self-awareness or commentary on the thing itself, rather than just the content. That phrase is so meta
  12. Hi, are you able to add a photo that includes a dated note with the Caveman please? Cheers.
  13. Karen from Sheffield...
  14. Nice in Natural... Is the Under Slung G not meant to go tother way round the peg?
  15. It's OK, it's already dead.
  16. I can't think which bass, but there's one I've seen recently which had a long thin thumbrest running above the pickups. Something like that, possibly even with a lower edge like a mountain range to fit onto the pickups and ramp (if fitted) would be a solution - 3D printed perhaps.
  17. Just thought I'd post the finished product. 18. Today
  19. Yep, that's the exact same one.... best finish of them all imho...
