  4. 1. Xvive A58 wireless system (will certainly arrive) 2. Ibanez EHB 1000S (not produced anymore, and not in my budget right now for those which are still on the market. I'll have to be patient and snipe some used one.) 3. Well.. nothing more.
  5. I bought this new in April last year, using it briefly before discovering GR Bass. As such, everything is in mint condition and I still have the original boxes too so shipping is an option. This is an incredibly versatile amp, so much so that I couldn't possibly run through everything it can do here. There are lots of video reviews worth watching, but I am going to guide you to our very own Dood's review here, which gives a good deep dive into the amp. Boss Katana 500 Bass Head (£734) Boss BT-DUAL Bluetooth adapter (£45), so you can adjust settings on the fly via the app Boss GA-FC pedal (£99)l, again, for ease of switching in a live setup Boss VE-22 Vocal Processor Bag (£74), a perfect fit for the amp, power lead and a couple of speaker cables I’ve added some pictures taken today but forgot to add proof of ownership. Hopefully folks will know I am a stand up guy on here and save me the effort of retaking the pictures.

  6. But do they allow Western?
  7. Just for fun, the Status Jonas Hellborg had a 36 Volts preamp... And you received a lifetime Duracell subscription with it. 🤪🤦🏻
  8. Sloppy Drunk — Jimmy Rogers
  9. I’d be really interested to know how he’s using this. Theres not loads of changes as there’s usually been a compressor of some variety, fuzz (think National Anthem etc) and a Sansamp at the end. The addition of the Bass Rig and move to a 3 Chanel Sansamp would suggest a wider variety of tones, or at least a series of subtle changes, possibly even different FOH signals?
  10. Whats so special about it?
  11. Stagger Lee - Lloyd Price
  12. Hi, As listed, Boss OC2 ( Taiwan), MXR phase 90 and Korg pitch-black in a Boss BCB 30 pedal board box. Mains adapter and Rean pancake jacks. I'd rather sell complete, £200 collected as the items can be demonstrated. Thanks for viewing Martin

  13. 1. I’d commission Fender to make me a chambered Precision in black/black/maple (at present this colour scheme not available on the mod shop). 2. If the above not possible I’d get someone to properly chamber one of my current US Precisions to get it at around 7.5lbs. 3. A decent acoustic guitar such as a Martin/Taylor/Gibson J45.
  14. Forgot about this.... still for sale!
  15. I'm thinking about buying one like Chris Childs'.
  16. Bass Notes is a book written by Stone Foundation’s Neil Sheasby. It’s an on the road journal covering 2011-22 and will strike a chord with anyone with touring experience. Foreword by Horace Panter. New copy, just published. RRP £15, yours for £11 £8 £6 Posted.
  17. The review says it all: comprehensive, US published and hard to find. Price is UK posted, unread condition. Now £16. EVEN LOWER! £14 posted. Times And Seasons - The Rise and Fall and Rise of the Zombies Robin Platts HoZac Books, $31.99 356 pages Classic British pop, expertly chronicled Few books on the Zombies exist, but theirs is a story worth telling. And it's predictable that, given their Stateside star status, this quintessentially English quintet of She's Not There and Tell He No fame should be chronicled on an American imprint. The band only hung up its touring shoes last year after leader/keyboardist Rod Argent's stroke, but the work he and singer Colin Blunstone created after their reunion in 2001 - the years since 1968 being silent, in a Zombies sense - are also covered in detail by author Platts. The band always had a youthful camaraderie, having come together at high school, and that comes over faithfully in this account of their heyday - plus a long tail that details their subsequent musical careers. While Blunstone went solo and Argent created an eponymous prog band (of God Gave Rock And Roll To You fame), guitarist Paul Atkinson went behind the scenes and signed Abba to CBS - a feather in anyone's cap. Detail is forensic without being stifling. If the layout is a trifle fanzine-y, the integration of illustrative material like press cuttings and photos with the text helps make this an easy read. And the urge to play the music, always the sign of a good book, is irresistible.
  18. New and unplayed, Ruf Records latest prodigy’s new release. Features Kingfish Ingham and Shemekia Copeland. Powerful stuff from someone who’s touring here in the autumn and should not be missed. £20 from Amazon, £10 posted UK here. NOW £8

  20. Reissue priced at £40.99, yours (new, sealed) for £25 posted UK. Now £20 OMD’s 1985 album Crush, will be reissued for its 40th anniversary in October. The band’s sixth album features the singles ‘So In Love,’ and ‘Secret’, with the former reaching the top 30 of the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. The 2LP vinyl edition features seven unreleased tracks. Both formats include rare photos and comprehensive notes by journalist and author Jason Draper in conversation with Andy McCluskey. The 40th anniversary re-release of Crush has been a wonderful opportunity for us to re-assess the album. 1985 was a period of great intensity with constant touring and time pressure in the studio, but we created a powerful collection of songs and lyrical themes. In hindsight, we made a much better album than we knew at the time. Two hit singles ‘So in Love’ and ‘Secret’ remain live set constants to this day. ANDY MCCLUSKEY
  21. If I was aiming for the impossible - just my folks back would do me. Otherwise; 1) My 66 slab back 2) My 53 Precision back 3) A heritage B15 4) A new splitter van 5) One of John Deacon's old Precisions
  22. Unless Santa has a spare gold brick or two, I suspect the tree will be unadorned > C18th English cello and bow > A shiny Besson compensating 4 valve euphonium...
  23. They really aren't that bad at all. The handles take most of the weight. Nice compact box shape so not a bad lift at all. A small trolley from b&q for £20 would save any lifting at all
