Really need to crank this baby up, when you coming round?
Sorry mate... I know how hard of a decision it is!!
Where did you get the ext cab!! I've been looking for one for ages
I bought it from Mark @ Bass Direct. He's great to deal with, had one in stock and I had it within 24 hours. Better price than Thomann too - not cheaper than the USA, but all dealers I knew were good won't sell Mesa to the UK.

My impression of adding the extension cab it that it's exactly the same tone - just louder as the combo by itself.

Cheers Raggy, you still got the NV610 mate?

Sorry to derail slightly, but is this a Walkabout combo perched on top? I was wondering whether to try running my Walkabout head at 2 Ohms, but wasn't sure if it would hold up. Have you really pushed this yet, and how has it coped?

Bet it sounds great with the Celinder.

1x12 all the way. The 12 isn't a featherweight and it's got a huge bottom end. The 15 will be a bugger to carry and sound pretty flubby.. have a look on Talkbass for other opinions.

I've run it at 2ohm with no problems, and some folks on TB (again) do all the time in crazy heat without problems...
