This looks and sounds great! Love the whole design!

Really cool to have a few impulse response options built into the DI, modern digital antics but no faff.

Also dual DI and aux/headphone outputs are a neat touch, plenty of monitoring options!

I've been gigging a Tone Hammer 350 and a Barefaced Compact for YEARS, and I am very happy. But this just gave me GAS 😅

I don’t dislike the aesthetics but it does give me 1970s washing machine vibes…

That's why I think it's a fantastic.

Something different from the usual combo or cab design. I think it might be a bit marmite.

Yep, I’m all for a bit of a change to the visual ‘normal’.

Looks quite cool but hate the name. Tone Hammer. Reminds me of the fad where everything bass had to be MAX or have the letter X in it at least.

Wouldn’t look out of place on stage with Rush and their penchant for washing machines etc on stage. More I see it the more I like it.

Quite like it when people big up amplifiers by saying they have loads of bass, tons of mids and great treble

It’s got a lot of tone Ped 👍

It would be cool if it had wheels. I wonder if it’s a bit tricky to move otherwise, I could be wrong and not sure of the weight but it looks as though the height and handle might make it a bit awkward.

I like the look though. I’ve always liked combos for some reason.

What’s ‘Eco Mode’? Does it make it cheaper? 😁

I think it's a longer cycle but it uses less water at 30°C!

Genuinely really like this design, I can see the shelf being handy for bits and pieces. One could even perch perhaps.

The Tone Hammer's a great sounding amp and the connectivity on the back is pretty handy. Wish they'd added some wheels to the back, so you can pull it along from that top handle. I guess you could add some?

This just epitomises what Aguilar has become since the Daves moved on. Overpriced, lacking basic functionality with ‘new aesthetics’ designed for the “influencer” persona which they’ve gone all-in on (in place of all the established working players like Dave Swift et al that they decided to no longer support).

When you look at companies like Ashdown and their NAMM26 releases (like UK-built 500w Original EVO amps for £499 vs its Aguilar counterpart v2 TH500 at £959), you can see how disconnected Aguilar have become.

Trying to role it in glitter and flog it for twice the price, relying on brand premium and what brands look good for videos… I’ve seen it before with brands and feels like the writing is on the wall!

That's funnily enough exactly what I thought when I saw it, albeit far more clearly articulated, in short that this is more about marketing and image than audio. There's so much about it that hasn't been designed with a gigging player in mind (no wheels plus what looks to be a flimsy handle, no ext out, awkward shape with exposed controls), and too much that appears to have been designed to grab attention. I hope it comes in a very strong and well designed cover or the days of those knobs are numbered.

It looks like a vintage American washing machine.

Get’s less attractive each time I look ….

Glad I’m not the only one. Hideous thing!

Had they done it more like the Mesa Venture - facade similarly on s slant but controls protected by overhang of case, rock solid handle, wheels - they might have got away with it :)

Worth noting that the Venture weighed only slightly less than Luxembourg and had it's own gravitational field as the result, but was actually very easy to move around, even upstairs - defying it's Dalek-esque qualities - on the basis of those wheels and that handle 👍
