I think the bass he's playing now is a prototype made by the Bass Centre

http://www.basscentre.com/4-string-bass-gu...-prototype.html

Its a replica of his old gold Jazz

The price tag is a bit steep though

ROFLMAO.....I'll have you know thats a solar panel mate.
We may look a trifle eccentric but we still got it goin on!
As to his bass, its beaten to buggery. I had a good look but cant remember the name on the headstock.

Funny then how "the Doctor" gets younger and more trendy every time he regenerates... and Norman er... doesn't.

Yeah that's it. Amusingly it appears to have an SX headstock shape.
It's also pre-bugg3r3d as part of the customising.
Sounds great though.

His performance is full on, communicating constantly with the (very young) drummer and locked in.
Saw the Blockheads recently and Norman gives his all in performance: so much so we watched his suit gradually darken as he sweats buckets. I notice in the photo he obviously had another good gig!
Yeah, the amount of sweat was mad..

and he put his arm round me.. my tshirt sleeve was wet.. i still can't sleep at night.. :)

lmao
