bassace97 Posted Tuesday at 07:55 Posted Tuesday at 07:55 Great runthrough of the pedal by IMA! 8 Quote
HoorayForAnonyms Posted Tuesday at 08:51 Posted Tuesday at 08:51 They’ve pitched this really well. Not a full on synth like a Future Impact or Source Audio C4 but more feature rich than the EHX Mono Synth. It seems closer to the Meris Enzo but far better executed. I think it will sell well. 2 Quote
simonlittle Posted Tuesday at 08:58 Posted Tuesday at 08:58 This looks incredible. Could easily replace a few individual pedals straight away. Those presets programmed by IMA are worth the price of admission alone; from the sounds in the demo he’s nailed 8 of the most immediately useful bass synth tones you’d be looking to achieve. Can’t wait to get my hands on one. Thanks for sharing 👍 3 Quote
fretmeister Posted Tuesday at 11:41 Posted Tuesday at 11:41 £289 at Bass Direct - but they've already sold out the few they had. Sounds ace, and with more controls on the front there should be far less faff with secondary functions / apps etc compared to SA pedals. 1 Quote
Quatschmacher Posted Tuesday at 11:47 Posted Tuesday at 11:47 Very sensibly pitched. The amount of times I get requests for these very preset sounds on the FI and C4 is crazy. I anticipate these will sell very well. I’ll definitely be checking one out. Nice hands-on control and preset capability. 3 Quote
Chadu25 Posted Tuesday at 13:04 Posted Tuesday at 13:04 Looking forward to this! I see how nicely responsive it is to IMA's playing like palm mute or staccato notes. Managed to order one. Already sold on prestet 1 and covers alot. Exciting! 1 Quote
Al Krow Posted Tuesday at 13:10 Posted Tuesday at 13:10 This is an actual synth rather than a "synth emulator" like the Boss SY1 / 200? If so, the tracking / lack of glitchiness is incredible - check out IMA's clip above at 12.44 playing a low D on the B string, and (12.55) pulling off onto the low E - effortlessly tracked. 1 hour ago, paul_5 said: Want! +1 ^^ 😅 Quote
Al Krow Posted Tuesday at 13:38 Posted Tuesday at 13:38 One thing I would miss on my SY200 is the arpeggiator, which gets use on a couple of live tracks. But layering this with the SY200 could be pretty cool! It's going on the birthday wish-list! Quote
AinsleyWalker Posted Tuesday at 13:45 Posted Tuesday at 13:45 Oooh I've been considering rebuying an EHX micro synth for quick flexibility but this seems like it can get the same filtered tones without the huge size (I dont care to use the micro synth as a fuzz-like effect with open filters like many others. The filter section is where the magic is for me.) Quote

JapanAxe Posted Tuesday at 22:11 Posted Tuesday at 22:11 Oooh! I'm not a big effects user when it comes to bass but that sounds very tempting. Quote
AxelF Posted Tuesday at 22:19 Posted Tuesday at 22:19 Anyone know if it can do a clean envelope filter in the same way that it can do a clean octave? Quote

It sounds like you can send just dry bass into it so no reason why the filter can’t be used on that. (There’s an explicit option for the dry to either go through the filter or to bypass it.) Quote
paulo m Posted yesterday at 04:59 Posted yesterday at 04:59 This little unit looks & sounds very tempting indeed' those preset sounds are the buisiness.... myself i think i shall wait a while for the used market to flourish.. 😉 1 Quote
mattpbass Posted yesterday at 06:23 Posted yesterday at 06:23 Sounds great and the tracking seems excellent, but if I read it right there are only 8 presets, and they’re changed by pressing those little buttons? That alone would make it not really a viable gigging alternative to an actual bass synth for anyone but the lightest user. Quote
