My body is a temple 😎 I am with you on the caffeine though. A medical professor told me to drink as much of it as I want. I have a chronically low pulse of around 45. She said “do you drink alcohol?” I said “little and rarely” “pity” she said 3 Quote

shoulderpet Posted Sunday at 19:48 Posted Sunday at 19:48 So..... What's the consensus on these now they have been out for a bit, are they rebadged Affinity's or are they there own thing? Quote
HeadlessBassist Posted Sunday at 19:58 Posted Sunday at 19:58 I've only heard good things about them to be honest. They're made in the Indonesian Cort factory, so quality will obviously be pretty good. The standout feature seems to be the ceramic pickups, so they have a brighter sound than the more expensive Player II's. Quote
Supernaut Posted Tuesday at 11:31 Posted Tuesday at 11:31 Surely these are just a rebadged MIM Player series except that they're now being produced in Indonesia? Don't think they'll hold a candle to the American Standard series (RIP). 1 Quote

No, these are a completely different bass (Poplar Body, Indian Laurel Fingerboard, Ceramic Pickups) to the MIM Player II (more traditional Alder, Rosewood, Alnico 5, etc). And as for the pre 2016 American standard, you’re comparing a £550 bass to a £1700 bass. Apples and Oranges, my friend 😊 Edited 2 hours ago by HeadlessBassist 1 Quote
