That thing didn't sustain like my other basses, which made it feel a bit underwhelming. I know some people don't care about sustain, but I need it for what I play. Hopefully that was a just a duff one. Very much enjoyed the ergonomics of it though and I think the 9th fret being the parallel fret might fit me better than the 7th on my Dingwall. I just saw the price points, and in todayās market place, they are more than reasonably priced, but Iād rather pick up a 2nd hand Euro LX. Just my opinion, but these new HPās look and sound amazing from the videos Iāve seen so far. I had the same combo in my Ras Layer signature bass. Really liked it (I only sold the bass as I did not like the chunky neck). Ā However, I am not sure about the name - HP (High Performance).
