I’ll have my 4 string fretless Mule with magnetic pickup too - so three ACG Mules in all. All three are available too - @eude’s 2 from Alan himself and mine from, er, me 😆

Nice, but all a string short!?

;)

One of the ones @eude has is a 5er 🤓

I’ll also have my (not for sale, sorry) Conway Instruments Taranis short scale fretless 5er if you wish to fondle that 😊

Fondling will be necessary!

Not sure I can afford!

But who knows what the "gods" grace us with !

A bit of an afterthought: I’ll bring some home recording stuff too. If anyone else is into it or thinking of getting started, it would be good to swap a few tips (and, for the exhibitionists among us, show videos of ourselves).  I've added " iPad and home recording kit (and a couple of videos😀😜)" to my entry (16) below.

8. prowla: Obligatory Rickenbackers, a Warwick or two, maybe a Kramer aluminium necked bass, some pedals, Ampeg & Tech 21 preamps (subject to change), maybe the Minitaur & MIDI bass pedals.

9. Silverfoxnik: G&L SB1, BC Rich Eagle, Godin Shifter Classic 5, Sprackenbacker Ricky copy, Mesa Walkabout 15 combo, or Handbox R400 + Vanderkley 1156 MT.

Gutted… I’m now looking very dubious for Sunday. Our little fella has been off school the last three days with a lurgy and it looks like me and the other half have come down with it too! ☹️🤒🤧🤢🤕 I probably could struggle along but you really don’t want me to.

I'm struggling for Sunday now too.  I had knee surgery about six weeks ago and I'm still hobbling about.  Spoke to the consultant yesterday, he's just suggested the ongoing pain I'm in is part of the healing process and has suggested I keep off the leg (Rest/Ice/Compress/Elevate).  I'll see how I go today.

Hi All,

I'm looking forward to tomorrow and seeing and hearing you good folk.

One thing I'm particularly interested in, and it's eluded me so far, is a good octaver. I've had the Boss OC-2, 3 & 5, the Aguilar and tried the famed Pearl, the TC Sub and MXR but they're not doing it for me. Think Tony Levin on 'Sledgehammer' or Guy Pratt on some Floyd stuff or Pino, which are probably all OC-2s but I need better tracking and lower range.

Anyone bringing anything along tomorrow that fits the bill, let me know and I'll seek you out as well as anyone with a decent budget fretless.

See you anon and safe journey.

Cos

I'm sure folks would be happy to carry your gear.

Likewise I’m looking forward to seeing everyone.  I have a Laney “85” that you are welcome to have a go with.  It does up and down.  I’m not sure how far it tracks down, but I recall playing one song with either and F or F# and the sound tech said it was fine with my fretless.  The other one I tried that you haven’t mentioned that might fit the bill for you is an EBS Octabass.  You can tell it whether you want to track high or low registers - I guess it does some algorithm adjustment.  That may fit the bill and it does sound good.  Unfortunately I don’t have one for you to try.

I've not packed up anything yet, so I'll have a busy morning before setting off.

I’m just a bit too keen to have an extra half an hour in bed asleep 🤣

Probably the following piled into the passenger seat of the tiny Mercedes's that the other half has left me with ( she's away in the big car helping care for her dad )

Status Graphite , telecaster bass
Musicman Old smoothie
Ovation Magnum  III

1 x  Markbass  Combo  CMD 121p
1 X markbass head  and Ny 121 cab
