bubinga5 1,256 Posted October 10, 2020 (edited) Yes its a cover, yes she's good looking blah blah... Absolutely all I care about is how good this girl is on the bass. ive seen a few vids of her..I think she is a killer bassist for so many reasons in her playing.. imo of course. spencer.b 108 Posted October 10, 2020 Killer playing and love the j snarling tone Just worked out the lick at 42 seconds, just a blues scale but made me go ooh I like that I want it in the arsenal
TrevorR 1,380 Posted October 10, 2020 Her trio work is pretty stunning. She’s got such a great feel as a player. She certainly has the bass chops but she always strikes me as so much more melodic and tuneful than a lot of the shreddy jazz bassists out there. Worth checking out some of her live gigs on YouTube...
bubinga5 1,256 Posted October 10, 2020 (edited) Trevor R ..Her solo at 5.20 and her following performance on that Jazz is hands down some of the best melodic funky bass playing I've watched for a long time.. The whole vid is very cool. Her slap playing also top draw tasteful good. Edited October 10, 2020 by bubinga5

stewblack 5,239 Posted October 11, 2020 (edited) Found her on YouTube little while back. So very very good. Oh and she wears a hat which is always a great thing in a bass player. Edited October 11, 2020 by stewblack
ped 6,232 Posted October 11, 2020 Great playing - and her sound really shows how a 70s jazz sounds great with super low rattly setup. Nice.
Chris2112 402 Posted October 11, 2020 She does occasionally take the hats off, too.

Like you say, the Trio gigs are a good listen, the Piano Player, Rafał Stępień, plays great..!! Her dad (on the video - Drummer, Irek Głyk) is also a very fine Jazz Vibes player.
