I guess this was announced at NAMM, but it's the first I've heard of it. Looks GASelicious though:

500w digital power section, valve preamp and weighs in at 4kgs for £450. Put me down for one!

Seems there's a thread about them on TalkBass:

Looks like they have an effects loop and DI out on the side... bit of a pain if you want to put them in a case. By my calculations (taking them to be the same size as the Tiny Terror guitar amp) they should fit in a 4U rack case if you made up rack ears for them.

I'm a little skeptical about Orange using digital power stages in amps. We'll have to see what the Bass Terror sounds like.

They've also just announced that they're releasing a couple of cool guitar amps too.
- Dual Terror: a 30 watt, 2 channel Tiny Terror
- Tiny Terror Hard Wired Edition (a British-made, hi-spec Tiny Terror)

I seem to remember there's a few people on here that use Tiny Terrors for their guitaring ways. I've been using one for a couple of years and it's been an awesome bit of kit so I'm quite excited about these two guitar-based things. ;)
What I would like to see - altho it's probably not totally viable due to weight and space - but a dual channel bass head with an ad200b but with the added preamp from the thunderverb 200 or from the tiny terror guitar head.. it'll never happen but i think it would sound like a monster.
Just a dual channel AD200B would be killer! ;) RRAWWWW!
500w and 4kg?

They'll break inside 5 minutes, trust me.
That's a whole kilo more than a LMII...;)

And Lemmywinks, if yours is cutting out, check all speaker wiring. The only time I've heard of these cutting out is when faced with too low an impedance.

This looks really cool!
I love the idea behind it at least, whether or not the quality is there though is another thing though.
I'd love a small lowish powered affordable all valve amp but there doesn't seem to be anything on the market.
The closest thing I've ever seen with the old Trace Elliot Twin Valve head and that Ampeg one from a while back, but they seem to be as rarer a rocking horse poop now...

Cheers,
Eude
I don't think these will be out for a couple of months yet. I can probably get hold of a rough release date though, I'll post it here if I do.
I've found them on a couple of sites for £412 but I don't know if they're in stock.
I think that sounds a good price if they're any good.
