Looks like you did a great job. It's always satisfying to work on something yourself and get the desired outcome. Bass looks fantastic too!

I've followed a few of your builds over the year @kevin_lindsay and they always look spectacular. Love the pastel colours too. Great bass.

Yep, lusted after these as a spotty teenager. They also came in Olympic White and Natural too.
-
Yeah, I've tried multiple basses, cables and cabs. Just needs a competent tech, I suppose.
-
I'd be interested if you manage to get this resolved. I have an old Peavey valve amp which is making a similar noise, and previous techs have not found any issue with it. Rather frustrating.

I went to the Clash exhibition just before COVID. Serial number is S875618.

Just read that Virtuoso not recommended for cracked finishes. Apologies, I should have checked first.

The Virtuoso Cleaner and Polish is good for nitro basses. Fairly pricey, but good stuff. Had mine for years. https://www.theguitarrepairworkshop.com/product-page/virtuoso-cleaner Dr Ducks Axe Wax is also meant to be good. I've got some but not got around to using it yet.

Hi folks, Moving on a couple of bits I no longer use. First up is my Cioks Adam power supply. Fits nicely under a PT Nano. It's a few years old now, but it's in excellent condition. Apparently it's discontinued now. Comes with a number of power leads, as well as UK plug and the screws needed to attach it to a Pedaltrain. More info here. £60 posted in the UK - SOLD Next, I have a couple of 'American Loopers' pedals. First is a standard true bypass loop. It has a small scratch on the enclosure, but the pedal works flawlessly. LED is blue £20 posted in the UK. Details here The other one is a 'switcher', which switches between two separate loops. I used it to easily go from one drive pedal to another with one click, as opposed to turning one off, then turning on another. It's in excellent condition. Further details on the AL website here. LED's are red on the left and blue on the right. £40 posted in the UK. SOLD Thanks all

Thanks to @Sparky Mark, I now have a cab up and running! Thank you very much. Hooked up the speakers, tested the ohms on the end of the speaker plug and was getting around 8 ohms, so that was the first good sign. Next, the PP3 test had all speakers moving in the same direction. Added the amp, and now it's making actual sound! The first diagram you shared was more helpful for the 410TX. I only had 4 hookup wires to play with, so perhaps the 410TVX has 5? (judging from the sketched schematic). Regardless, thanks all for your help. Recording next week, so glad it's sorted

Great, thanks. I'll take a look and report back.
-
How would I do that? I tested each speaker by putting a PP3 on the terminals and they all moved so I'm hoping they're all good. Would plugging in a speaker cable into the jack and using a PP3 on the end of the speaker cable make all 4 speakers move? Thanks for your help!

Hi folks, I picked up an old 90's Peavey 410TX. It's the 8 ohm version, 350 watts. The speakers are currently all unhooked and I'm struggling to find a wiring diagram, or even a similar diagram which I could use. Are there any owners out there who fancy taking the back panel off and taking a few pictures for me, so I can get it up and running again. I'm a little clueless on things like this. Thanks all.

Very nice. I'd seen this too and had some messages with the seller, but like you, it was a fairly hefty round trip. Decided against it in the end. Great price though for a great sounding and looking bass. I picked up a "Commie Red" Dano a couple of months back. Great basses.
