I would say Beatles but that's probably more to do with the song writing, arrangement and harmonies. Tbh a lot of the Who's "album fillers" leave me cold. timmo Posted December 11, 2015 Share Posted December 11, 2015 (edited) Quadrophenia is one of my favourite albums,but Tommy is just awful in my opinion. I am not much of a Beatles fan. Daltrey has a better rock singing voice, and Beatles were more pop for me, so difficult to say. brucew Posted December 14, 2015 Share Posted December 14, 2015 Beatles win for me, they did all the harmonies themselves right from the early days, & could do it live, i think the 'Ivy League' were used on the Who's early stuff for B.V.'s , but to be fair tho the vocals on the Who's tracks did improve album by album.
