[/quote] Well given that a Jazz body is usually about 15 - 20% heavier (IME) I very much doubt it! This may be just that I've had some heavier Jazz's but I think the extra pickup adds a little mass to the bridge area (depends on the pickup - some are lighter than others. Regarding neck dive, It's certainly more evident when playing sat down without a strap. Playing with a strap it's well balanced.
