Hi all

'Cloudbusting' the Kate Bush Tribute Band need a permanent bass player.

Requirements: an experienced, melodic player who is familiar with Kate's work, BV's would be great too. A willingness to travel - we have interest from all over the UK plus European representation and so you will need to be able to join us if we get some dates abroad !

We are still a 'young' band (the members aren't so much ! We're all in our 40's / 50's), have gigged on average once a month since August 2012. We have won accolades from Kate's fans, the official Kate Bush News site http://www.katebushnews.com/index.php/2013/01/cloudbusting-gigs-for-2013/ and Del Palmer, Kate's bass player and long time musical collaborator. We shall be headlining at the 'HomeGround' magazine Summer convention in London in June.

We are based in North Devon, Cornwall and Somerset and get together for weekly rehearsals in those areas. We're a friendly bunch and welcome input and ideas from all band members, especially if you bring the biscuits :D

So, if you like the sound of this please get in touch, we'd love to hear from you ! In the meantime please check out the website at
www.cloudbustingkatebushtribute.com to see video and check out our current diary.

All the best !

What a bummer, if my kids were older I would have loved to do something like this, but it's too much travelling for me at the moment
Can't think why your existing bassist would feel like packing it in
Best of luck to you, hope you find the right one soon

Hi rubis
Oh, he didn't pack it in, it was just one of those 'band' things. He did some great work with us, no hard feelings.

Thanks for the good wishes, everyone.

Hi Simon ! How's it going ? I'm sorry, I forgot all about the music stand - I shall let Michael know and we'll sort out trying to return it to you.
