it's beautiful.
but why has it got a late 60's headstock decal?

No idea at all mate and I didn't realise that fact, I ordered the model and colour through my Fender dealer and this is what I got straight from the Custom Shop. It's of course 100% brand new, original and unmolested.

Holy shitballs; that's pretty.

I've seen other custom shop '59's' with that big TV style logo, which is odd, but...so so so cool.

Hi Andy, thought you'd be along for this! Love the TV logo - odd but very cool indeed

The late 60's decal is typical of what Fender Custom Shop do.
They dont follow the original models to the letter

I had a 1960 Custom Shop Jazz bass but it didnt have stack knobs.
The tuners they use are not correct either, pre cbs instruments had fewer threads on the back and were more difficult to fine tune.

Burgundy Mist has overtaken Lake Placid Blue I think...you heard it here first!

Been staring at this bass all day!
