Here's some shots of my rig. It's a Db750 / NV610 wired up with bassic cables (http://www.bassic.co.uk/). In the first shot it's with my '69 Fender P, and in the second with my Celinder J-Update 4. The final shot is a closeup of the '69 body.

I don't know why I still have GAS but I do.

Lovely set-up and two great basses! Amazing how difficult the GAS is to cure though, even with your hi-quality gear!
If its the one I am thinking of then I think it has had a refinish already - so this time it could be considered a re-refin!
yeah thats what I thought. He wanted to restore it to one of the original finishes available from fender when it was new. If its already been refinished then theres no harm in restoring it to a more authentic original colour. In fact it would probably boost the value. Of course that post on TB was a while back. Maybe you have already done it and had it vintigified?!

I hope so, Cameron. I'll let you know. I'm not sure the music will be to your taste, but you'll hear some awesome bass tone.
What happened to that American bought thing with the fanned frets? You ever play that anymore?
I sold it to our very own 6stringbassist - Eddie from Athens, who adds it to his collection os 20 (!!) Dingwalls.
