Well it was a few years ago so I don't remember the seller but it was purchased through eBay. Just had a quick look on eBay and there are a few on there (I'm posting from my iPad so can't post a link). If you search on 'fender jazz deluxe pickguard'. There is a new genuine Fender one on there from a seller in the UK for £44.99 plus £3.99 postage. Cheapest option it would seem. Hope you get sorted.

Had to get mine shipped in from the States. Looked everywhere but that was the only option at the time. Cost around £50 if I remember correctly inc shipping, vat & taxes etc.

You could of course go for option 3 which is sell or trade the Ibby and get a 5 string with a wider string spacing. Of course the neck will be wider but they tend to be narrower front to back.

£2500 for my EBMM 25th Anniversary bought new in 2012 and £46 for my Harley Benton Progressive 5 Deco bought new in 2015. One extreme to the other! I've spent a lot of time working in Yorkshire in the past couple of years where the natives really understand the value of money. Think this has rubbed off on me lol.

My mistake - they are £689 (which is still a great price). Google linked me to a lapel mic system & I wasn't paying attention.

I've lost touch with some of the pricing since I bought my 1964 ears quads a couple of years go. I paid £500 including having the impression done and now they're £820. Blimey! On the other hand the Sennheiser EW300 iem G3 can now be had for £619 - these were just short of a grand when I was in the market. Good shout about the UE900's - £159 is a steal. A reshell at £200 and you've got a cracking set of in-ears for less than £400 inc impressions (unless the price of having these done has also rocketed ). Our drummer is looking into in-ears at the moment. I've sent him a link to this thread (he can have a read when he has a spare 2 minutes ). He is looking at going wired. Any recommendations for the beltpack? The Behringer P1 looks great for £40 (and being an XR18 owner, I'm no longer worried about the Behringer name). The other option is the LD HPA 1. Rolls were always on the radar when I was looking but they don't seem that readily available these days for a single unit.

Nice - just needs a tortie or black plate now and she'll be perfect.

I usually arrive first - set up the lights and my bass gear. The rest of the band arrive and set up around me leaving very little space for me to actually stand in. The drummist usually asks me to move my rig so he can set up even though there is plenty of room. They then place all their empty gear cases on top of mine! There is a lot to be said for arriving late.

Ah.....but is it a rimshot or a miss?

Bugger! Hadn't noticed that the aux outs on the XR18 were upside down. I watched the video but to be honest - I can't be arsed lol. Think I'll just leave it as it is.
