1.
I had hoped it would be here Friday, but probably next week now as the bank messed up the transfer
Well that was lovely of them! It will be worth the wait I'm sure!
2. Ahh I see! Sorry, that went completely over my head When is the CTM100 due for you then? If it is anything like my CTM300, it will be awesome! Looking forward to seeing your video review of it!
3. You mention a custom casing? What about it is custom? Sorry for being nosey, but I just got a chrome control plate version of the CTM300 and would love to know what else is floating about on here
4. They are brilliant at responding to emails. One of the reasons I am an Ashdown junkie is the excellent customer service. Good luck with getting yours sorted!
5. BUMP for a spectacular little combo amp! I love mine to bits, even if it has started me on an Ashdown addiction which has led to an ABM900 and a CTM300! Sounds nice and warm just like any Ashdown and has plenty of volume on tap. Good luck with the sale fella!!
6. Contact Ashdown and ask who they recommend in your area. Alternatively, they have offered some people a 'serviced while you wait' service for some problems if you make the trip to their headquarters near Essex, but I don't know how often they offer this and for what issues
7.
My practice amp is an Ashdown EB 180, one 12" speaker. I use it for rehearsals with my 5 piece band and for gigs where space is at a premium. I had to use it at last Saturday's gig as it fits beneath the keyboard of the pub piano, there was nowhere else for it! I picked it up used for under £100. Obviously, it doesn't have the satisfying depth that my ABM 500/Barefaced Super Twin produces, but it still gets the job done when necessary.
+1 for the Ashdown EB 180. I have the 15 inch version and love it for practice and jams. Well...I use it for practice when I get told to turn the ABM 900 and 810 down
8. Ashdown recently posted a pic on their facebook page of a CTM 300 being tested and you get a pretty good gut shot!
9. Just bought some cloth covered wire from Richard. Exactly as described, excellent communication and prompt delivery. Could not ask for more
10. Just bought a set of DiMarzio Jazz pickups of Jim. Excellent communication, very thorough and accurate description of item and very keen to make me aware of exactly what I was buying. Very fast shipment and great packaging. Would buy from Jim again in a heartbeat! Top bloke
11. Absolute pleasure doing business with Michael. Bought a Hipshot Xtender off him. Pristine condition, exactly as described in the thread. Very well packaged. Excellent communication. Can't fault him in any way. Utter gent
12. BUMP for a fantastic wireless kit! Love mine and just wish I was still gigging to warrant having it
13. Bought 2 issues of BassGuitar Magazine from Cliff. Quick replies to messages. Fast delivery with above adequate packaging. Absolute pleasure to deal with. Top bloke
14. Would you be willing to sell individual issues? I only ask as I need issues 85 and 86 as my subscription got messed up
15. Just bought a Quarter Pounder jazz pickup from Dean. Pleasure to deal with. Great comms, quick delivery. Top lad
16. If these are the stainless steel set, then BUMP for awesome sounding strings!!! If I hadn't just bought a 6 string set and two 4 string sets then I would be all over these!! Good luck man!!!
17. BUMP for an amazing head and cab. I love mine to pieces. Is there any chance in splitting? I only ask as I am very interested in the flightcase
18. BUMP for an awesome amp!! I have the EVO III version and it slays through and ABM 810 or 410. Very versatile amp, but always has the warmth that Ashdown are known for. Good luck with the sale man!!
19. I've got the un-modded version of this cab (i.e. the earlier version of the ABM) and can vouch for it being a HUGE sounding amp. Slightly smaller than some of the 810s on the market and not too difficult to move around. If I had the funds, I would jump on this just so I could get the full power out of my ABM900, but sadly I am but a humble student Good luck with the sale man!!!
20. These are brilliant little amps. I used one for about 2/3 years before upgrading to the ABM range. Good luck with the sale man
21. I've got the ABM 900 Evo III Head and can vouh for it being a beast. Sounds incredible through my MAG410 and ABM810 Good luck with the sale BUMP
22. Is the 410 the round handle version? And is that £200 collected or shipped?
