  1. My tax returns are up to date and filed- as they have been for the past 15 years. I have received one payment from the government and am due another. To cover the period between end of March and the end of August. I get a maximum of 2500 from the first, and 60% of that from the second. my work is unlikely to begin properly this side of Christmas. I can eek out enough to cover bills etc by teaching remotely, but like so many in this industry (crews, techs, as well as musicians) and indeed on this forum, things are incredibly tight. for an industry that people fall back on when times are tough- it’s only this album or this band that got me through - we are being forgotten, despite contributing a significant portion of the nations income \rant. Sorry 😉
  2. No- as it’s my job
  3. my eyesight is not good enough with a ruler unfortunately. it’s a metric screw, as it has come from a Korean built bc rich. thanks so much for the help thus far. ive tried northwest guitars, ch and black dog, but can only find screws compatible for vintage instruments- ie imperial. I’m ideally looking for black ones as well 😉🤘 cheers
  4. I’ll sort some tomorrow 😉👍
  5. Hi. im trying to restore an old bass, which has unfortunately got rusted intonation screws on two of the saddles. Ive managed to remove them from the bridge, but Ultimately I need to replace them. ive been searching around online, and on the phone to the local music shop, but no joy does anyone have a reliable source without ordering from eBay/ China. Cheers
  6. I have a few Joyo about the place. I’m particularly fond of the orange juice as noted in the other thread. they’re great pedals, generally, at a good price point.
  7. It’s not ‘him’ is it?
  8. I really like mine too. It gives me a nice grit to my tone. Ive been using it With my Ozzy/ sabbath tribute as an always on ‘livener’. mmmmm 😂😂
  9. No!! tim smith and Peter green in one week! both will be in excellent company - genii together. thank you for the music. 😢
  10. Rest well Tim. was fortunate to spend a good deal of time with the band around the heaven born album time. My favourite memory being invite to eat with the band at a show in at helens, than talking gear with him, Jim ( who is him?) and Jon Poole A truly inspirational musician and human being.
  11. I have a reverse headstock on one of my warlocks and one on my Kramer. I love the look
  12. I’m a full time musician and have been for the last 17 years I teach in schools during the week and gig when ever I can. since lockdown- no gigs and no schools (and very little chance of getting back in this side of Christmas) I have had to teach via zoom to try and cover my outgoings. i received £1700 via seiss last time and will receive something in the next round in August. I am also going to have to look into a mainstream job, if things don’t pick up. 😢
  13. Is this kind of thing you’re after? USB Hub Powered, atolla 4 Ports... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07B2HJG8P?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I use mine to power my Scarlett 2i2 interface
  14. This was designed and marketed to go with the dbs 7200 head. it’s a 200w head with 2k peak. I would assume google would have the definitive answer 😉
  15. Live in the heart of the city - Neil Murray. always inspires me
  16. The Ibanez talman pinches way above its price also the reissue aria pro igb retailing around £250 are good. the Westfield p bass copies on amazon at around £110 were particularly of note, but they seem to have moved their production, so not too certain any more 😉
  17. Swing bass 50-110 on everything. if I ever fancy a change it’s rotobass 50-110
  18. Consistently amusing throughout. 😉👍
  19. Flats looking for highs- perhaps the Seymour Duncan Harris sig pups might fit the bill?
  20. I have a bh250. min using an old laptop sleeve. Does the job perfectly.
  21. I bought a pedal from Nick, Top chap to deal with, great communication throughout. Would happily buy from him again Cheers mate
  22. I used to regularly play one of my bc rich warlocks in church, and in fact I did so on tv 😉 don’t know if there’s any video of it though 🤷‍♂️ does that count?
