  1. Interesting stuff
  2. Altars of madness - morbid Angel. Some light relief from teaching 😉
  3. The old hr2 harmonist does pure octave up. Can be found quite cheaply too 😉
  4. Soo good to see someone mention dread zep. I had the good fortune to work for them on a uk tour in the early 90's. Lovely lovely people and boy, did tortelvis know how to work a crowd!!
  5. Allegedly the cp18 is a clone of the guitar version
  6. Thanks for that Osiris. I knew I should have done a search 😉 I've got a couple I'm watching elsewhere at the moment, but this is definitely now on my radar. Cheers!! Be about your business - nothing to see here! 🙈
  7. Apologies for the hijack, but is there such a thing as a bb pre amp clone ?
  8. I've just picked up an eno octave on eBay for £19 delivered. It does 1&2 octaves down as well as one octave up. Tracks well down to fret 4 on the e string, and sounds pretty damn good. I'll be trying it out in anger tomorrow
  9. Geezer butler - dirt and wah in nib, generally valve dirt throughout.
  10. I've just received the pedalboard I bought from Xavier. Extremely well packaged- plenty of gaffer!! 😉👏 Such an easy and straightforward transaction. Deal with this dude in complete confidence Cheers
  11. I had a play with one at stompbox the last time I visited. It's truly a superb piece of kit. The eq seemed to work very nicely, and I found my sweet spot very quickly
  12. I have, and still do, in thrash and death metal bands. Fingers where I can, although sometimes I'll use a pick for speed
  13. The weeping demon is so good, I own two 😉
  14. Regarding the 2001 thing- didn't fender sell the zone bass which was extremely similar, if not identical, to the lyte?
  15. I have a tobacco burst '95 which I bought as one of the last from fender. It's a real beaut! Chrome hardware and 50 sticker. Non matching headstock. Every time I take it out to gig, it's pretty likely that someone will ask to buy it! It ain't going anywhere!
  16. I watched it on to the other day. Musically it sounds great, but I have to say that I found the vocals 'interesting' In watching it I finally found out why Steve morse wears the glove. Not great for someone of his stature 😳 All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable doc.
  17. Whereabouts are you based dude?
  18. I score the sides with a Stanley knife. A trick I learned from dimebag 😉

  20. YES! I will be looking to try one as soon as they land I think! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
  21. Looks reasonable. Reminds me of the zoom unit that used to be about in the late 90's For hotel room noodling, it should be pretty cool
