I read this post back in March and thought it was some kind of joke but didn't reply with anything. The OP joined in 2011 and has made 2 posts here and not been back since this 2nd post. It takes all sorts I suppose.
Initially I liked the idea of guitar and thought about getting one. One day at school I saw on the notice board the music department was renting a bass and I had my lightbulb moment. I came home with it thst day an never looked back.
Mine was an unnamed Gibson SG copy. I had it for a few years before selling it to a friend of my brother. I then bought a decent P Bass copy. Unfortunately I don't have either of them.
War Pigs when we first introduced it into the set. More for the solo section as the bassline really goes for it. There was a tricky bit halfway through where at times the guitarist didn't always meet up with bass and drums. Always a relief to get through the solo.
