  1. I bought a new Charvel around 1987 and sold it in 2015 so had it for 28 years.
  2. What phone are you using? I have no problem with my Samsung S7 ane using the 'click to choose files' below and selecting one. I do however compress any photo before uploading.
  3. I have had the pleasure of playing Guy's bass many years ago but didn't have my ruler with me😀
  4. That's stunning. How does the neck compare to other jazzes and bass? I don't mind the narrow neck at the nut but prefer a wider neck at the 12th fret. I'm currently borrowing a Marcus Miller Jazz which has a neck that i really like.
  5. Time for another eye test!
  6. Nice collection, but surely the 2 acoustics should have been relegated to the back row 😁. This is Basschat!
  7. Time for an update, albeit a temporary one. Left to right. My Stingray, Sterling Sub and Aria Pro 2 SB600 fretless. The last 2 are being looked after as my friend is off to Spain. Another Aria Pro 2 with a through neck (not sure which model) and a Marcus Miller Fender Jazz. I'm really digging The Jazz. Never really tried one for any length of time but this is amazing. The neck is fantastic. Not tried it through my rig yet, only my headphones but sounds good. Shame we aren't gigging as it would be there! This is fueling my GAS!
  8. I too think its an AH200. I used to have one and can't see any difference.
  9. I've just been watching Anna Sentina. Very impressive playing. She's a multi instrumentalist and collaborates with others. Her videos are very well put together and she covers quite a few styles. https://www.youtube.com/user/Lilchoccarrier Of course Guy Pratts lockdown licks are the best!
  10. Showaddywaddy did the two drummer act at times.
  11. Nothing wrong with the BF Two10 for gigging I can assure you.
  12. We don't use a practice room but if we did there is no way I'm using one for foreseeable future. We practice at a low level with electronic drums in our guitarists living room and thats going to be difficult starting up again IMO.
  13. Another vote for Servisol.
  14. Hi there Jon and welcome to the forum. I grew up around the Plymouth area and started my bass journey there. I'm glad to hear that the groove of the bass has beckoned you.
  15. I've only read it twice, but that may change.
  16. Definitely. It's a cracking read. Here's a photo of me getting my copy signed by Guy at the Mansons guitar show some years ago.
  17. And of course Sarah-Jane Honeywell from CBeebies Tikabilla 😍
  18. I have done before but not now. I do have a spare bass if I wish to take one though. Never had a problem that a back up bass would have solved, at least for now.
  19. Thanks for posting. I went to look on YouTube where the previous 2 where and realised he's now posting on Instagram. Great stuff.
  20. Saved me from posting that picture of him!
  21. Elvis was quite partial to some bass.
  22. I've subscribed and hsve seen Girls On Film. Interesting enough and his Ray sounds great.
  23. Hi and welcome. Hopefully you'll spend more time here than GuitarChat 😁
  24. I don't know what I'm more impressed with. Your fine array of basses or your sofa!
