1. Hi guys, anyone have a Hisphot HB6 1/2" Ultralite tuiner I can borrow, so I can check its fit on my bass? It doesn't matter if it's a Clover, Lollypop or Y key. Cheers Gareth
2. Good price for an excellent bit of kit.
3. I want soft leather, and I mean soft... I want it at least 3.5" wide.... I want it to "grip" my shoulder and not slide around... I don't want to spend more than £50.... Recommend me happy, BC!
4. Even his middle name was cool......

6. I'm amazed this is still here. Superb kit and cheap as chips
7.
I've bought five sets so far - not a peep on any of 'em...
I received two sets last month, no charges either
8. I'm about 6 weeks in to owning my VT5. I've owned loads of boutique basses (Smith, Wal, Elrick etc.) over the years, but I have to say I think the Sandberg basses are incredible value for money. The fit and finish is right up there, as good as anything else, and the price point makes them a no brainer.
9.
Can anyone answer one question: does it have the 'clip-tuck' straps of the M80? I only ever use the handle - straps aren't for me so I'd prefer they were out of the way or didn't exist.
You can't tuck them away or remove them
10. Is it a lined fretless? If not, the marker dots on the side of the neck will probably be "on" the fret, which may or may not disorientate you once the bass is fretted. Worth factoring into the equation....
11. I have quite liked them so far, but only in a recording/solo headphones situation, and I can't see them being of any use live situation as their subtle nature would be lost in a band context. It's been an interesting experiment, but I won't be rushing out for more. Oh, and it was my pleasure to help everyone out. Cheers Gareth
12.

Looks lovely. Is this the one that was refinised by Paul Herman at Wal?
13. Why not try out the Sandberg configurator then? VS is a single P, VT is PJ, and VM is a P with MM.
14.
FWIW, I'm now running Lakland flats on everything. The La Bellas are awesome, and the Lakkies are a different flavour of awesome (and far cheaper, which helps ).
+1 to this
I put status flats on my thumb bass, not my thing at all sucked the tone out of it and I think the E string was dead. Sounded horrible.
+1 to this too. I liked the D and G strings on the Status flats, plenty of sustain, but the E and A strings were just totally dead thud.
15. I use a Gator GP66 percussion gig bag. All the big stuff in the main compartment, all the more delicate and small stuff in the outer zip.
16.
Not 100% sure about the Sandberg strings at the moment, but we'll see. We now have a zoom Q3HD in the house, so I may try to do a video review if I ever get time! Did you manage to do yours today walbassist?
I have mixed feelings about the Sandberg strings too. At first I thought they were really nice, but then I started to think they were too loose. No matter either way now as I've put flats on mine. I didn't get a chance to shoot the video in the end, but will do so over Christmas. I have a Q3HD too and will use mine as well, they are very good little units!
17. This one? Looks super classy, great for black tie gigs! The KT must have a heck of a punch. Can't wait to hear what you think of it. Good score
18.
Fingers crossed, my new baby should be arriving tomorrow!
Yay! I, meanwhile, have the day off, so will be shooting a review of my VT5 for Youtube......
19. Couldn't agree more. I have been playing nylon flats on my fretless for about three years now, but when I slapped some La Bellas on my fretted it was like.... SHAZAM!
20. You could do a lot worse than the Markbass NY151RJ cab I'm selling here on BC....
21. They have landed, and they are great!
22.
it was like coming home - but coming home after someone's kindly built you an extension and a 2-car garage, re-decorated the house, and filled your fridge with beer.
Quote of the week for me so far! Enjoy the new bass, it looks great and sound like you've got a great one
23. Just got a "Heads Up" strap from the USA, but have since sold the bass I was going to use it for. It really does work, and you can use the lead weights to get the balance just right, and because they are at the back of the bass you don't feel they add weight at all, just balance! I don't want to make much of a loss on the strap, so asking for £45 (I paid £50) for it. I will cover the postage, which given the lead included will be substantial! Cheers Gareth
