  1. Small Yamaha rig. 500 watt 2ohm digital amp with programmable presets. Very flexible amp. PAT tested 3 months ago With 2x10 4ohm cab. Blurb from Yamaha: This easy-to-use digital bass amp head utilizes high power and DSP to allow creation of a diverse range of tones. Though small and lightweight, it employs a high-efficiency digital power amp and switching power supply to achieve a high power output of 500 W / 2 Ω. Featuring eleven types of bass sounds, 5-band semi-parametric tone controls, compressor, limiter, and noise gate; also equipped with speaker simulator and effects loop. Up to five settings can be stored in the unit memory. Head has scratches to the top and the cab’s “fur” isn’t pristine, but all structurally good, just wanted to point it out. All working well and I’ll include a bomb proof Maximum hard case that you can put the amp in. Comes with mains cable, but not a speaker cable (I need to keep it). £190 for the pair collected or meet up within pre agreed distance, in and around Bath/Bristol.
  2. Harmonies, vocal and guitar fx, and a looper. Wonderfully creative tool and great for live performance especially solo acoustic. Bought with gigging in mind, but I’ve decided against and just concentrate on writing and recording. Great condition and comes in an aluminium case with keys. Spec: https://www.tc-helicon.com/product.html?modelCode=0726-AAI £200 delivered.

  4. Certainly more wood involved.
  5. That looks great Andy. Also your usual great prices!
  6. Puts a whole new meaning to being Ripped off
  7. Not going to help you by the sounds of it, but a good drummer is able to play at any volume without “compromising their style or whatever it means”. You could suggest using rods instead of sticks. I find these type of band mates frustrating. But it sounds like you want to keep him onside. Good luck.
  8. There’s a joke in my family that wherever we go on holiday (UK or abroad) I’ll find a guitar shop. And yes, I’ll usually buy something, more so these days with so many high street retailers closing down. But it’s usually strings or the like.
  9. I’m aware it’s a punt, and it’s covered in scratches and dings. No idea if the truss rod works and what condition structurally the neck is in. But from images it doesn’t look like anything I can’t sort. 🙏🤞
  10. Did a bit of research and reviews on this model. All had good right ups. That Dimarzio with the switching seems to be the star billing. But I always thought that the Longhorn design is cool as flock but I don’t get on with short scale necks. I’m a bit worried about the strap pin placement as I tend to like the horn strap pin on the 12th fret, like Ps and J style. But I’ll get over it, coz I’m shallow. 🤣 I’ll do a review.
  11. And replied Rob. cheers John
  12. As title. Off an Encore Strat. Nice neck perfectly useable. The line on the back of the neck is not a crack or split, it’s a stain run or something of that ilk. Free for collection or £10 P&P
  13. I upped my offer now it’s “being considered “
  14. Thing is I’ve always wanted a danelectro longhorn long scale. Now I’ve put an offer in it’s hard to not keep going 🤣
  15. Put an offer in, was declined thankfully. Don’t need it, but so what. Do I increase the offer or walk away 🤪
  16. Thats what I thought. Looks great. 👍🏻
  17. I’d want to know (if I joined a band) how the last incumbent “left”. Says a lot about people how they deal with others. Although of course you’re likely to only hear one side unless you can be bothered to find the ex member.
  18. It’s ok, it was a joke, a reference to past arguments about the use of music stands.
  19. Darn it! I wanted Gail to know how disappointed this community is with her use of a music stand
  20. Badly placed decal too, let alone the wonky machineheads.
