    I had a combo version. Excellent quality parts and manufacturing. Flexible eq and all the power you need. Just a tad heavy for my buggered shoulders. GLWTS

    I’m loving my gnome v1 with matching 2x10 4ohm cables. Bijou, but loud enough for mine and others needs.

    I didn’t play it before recording with it. I was intrigued as I’d not played one before. It was poorly set up with a higher and uneven action than I normally like, strings were not in great condition. But once I plugged in, and flattened the eq, I really liked how it recorded and the neck/ board felt comfortable in my hand. I was just curious. I’d definitely try a German made one with a better set up to see how consistent their quality is.

    As above, all boxed with manuals and serial numbers. It’s incredibly heavy due to the manuals, so I’m really not going to post this for free. Collection and it’s yours. If no bites then I may consider posting at cost.

    Sure. I'll tell you what, I’ll sell the switch to you for £90 and include an attached guitar. The switch mod to bass talent is fairly simple, but can take time. Depending on your practice regime.

    In a studio yesterday. I noticed a Sandberg hanging on the wall, black with maple board, active P, 2 band less expensive Electra series. Asked the artist if they minded if I used a different bass to the ones I brought, and they were fine. Well I have to say, I loved it, despite the poor set up. Very comfy and well made neck and even though I’m not normally a fan of active basses, the 2 band eq was very useable. Although I ended up keeping t&b on centre indents. Sounded great recorded too. I now have gas for Sandberg but have absolutely no money. Don’t see many come up for sale on here, but I may be keeping an eye out. Sandberg, lovely surprise.

    Bought a Hohner fretless from Pete. He went the extra mile on the deal, fitted a replacement preamp, set the bass up and posted it with bomb proof packing. Top guy. Thanks. John

    I had no idea of the range of models Sire produce. Went to a musical last night and the pit guy was playing a Sire. Seem to cover all basses…. and v well regarded.

    Yeah, it’s a fab sounding/playing bass but my rotator cuff makes the reach uncomfortable for long gigs. I’m going to leave it on eBay now it’s nearly gone “full term”, only fair to those who have bid.

    Silly Drop to £250 as bills need to be paid. Fab comfy great playing and sounding bitsa. Does the whole range of Burp to Geddy plus the series/parallel Beast mode. Lovely (very) white body (Signature make) through string body. Excellent condition. Dark red tort pickguard Retrovibe split P pickups under plain jazz covers. Solder-less PIO loom with series/parallel volume pot (that is beast mode) Standard bbot bridge with grooved saddles that now fit brilliantly. £200 posted loaded body only Neck is off a classic vibe P bass, which I find incredibly comfortable) with a cheeky F logo under a well finished lacquer. Gotoh tuners. £99 posted neck only. No case I’m afraid but I have guitar box, lots of cardboard and mucho bubble wrap. Happy to post for £20 or meet up or you can pop over for a try out, and meet our very friendly Rottie…honest….mostly.
