Just made some beef jerky. Cheapy Lidl steak hammered very thin, cut into 1" wide strips, marinaded for 12hrs in a witches brew of golden syrup, soy sauce, per-peri spices and Bovril(!), and then baked on a rack in the oven for 6 hours at 75deg. Turned twice and brushed with marinade during that time. Bloody marvellous.

Anybody ever had difficulty getting a reply from DR Strings? Sent them three emails so far and not heard a dickybird. Not tremendously impressed.

Continuity announcer on C5 has just described Home Alone as "the greatest Xmas movie ever made". I can't decide if that's complete boIIocks or complete and utter boIIocks.

To misquote an advertising slogan from a few years ago. The future is bright, the future is not orange.

Struggling to think of a way that New Order’s new single could be any more crap. Truly dreadful.

Here's a tip from your Uncle Rich. When you're beta-testing a design package and you think the auto-save is set, make sure it is. That way, you won't lose the last 5 hours' hard graft when it crashes.

Ok so where did I safely store those Entwistle PBXN Pickups I bought 3 years ago that I’ve been looking for, for over 2 weeks.
Have you seen them?

12 days after surgery, I now have a right eyeball that is half gas and half liquid. The liquid appears to be on the top, since vision is inverted. So it's still not usable, and I have to cover it with a patch because the sloshing is so distracting, but the little I can see does appear to be in focus. Another week and I might be able to do some work.

I've had an order from a Mr Derek Smalls for a 34' scale bass ...well that's what it said on the napkin.

NBD! It’s finally arrived... ordered my once-in-a-lifetime custom bass and after 2 1/2 years of build time/delays it’s finally here.... got to be honest I’m not smitten 🥺
