Some of Toyah's songs take me straight back to the 80s. Thunder In The Mountains gives me a nostalgia rush so fierce I can almost smell & taste it. (In a good, non-yucky and non-smutty way.)

His Alembic had a gorgeous sound on that album. I was absolutely gutted when he and Jeff Rich jumped ship to join Quo.

Judie Tzuke's "Road Noise", one of my favourite albums. Many of the songs on there are superior to their studio counterparts.

It's a Fender Tony Goggle Signature WTF Bass made from palletwood with a flamed balsa top.

From what I understand, that was the first time any of the cast had heard any of the reviews. Rob Reiner wrote them and had kept them secret up to that point.

I loved the commentary on the DVD. When Ian Faith says "F**k the napkin!", one of them (Derek Smalls, I think) says "actually, that was the alternative title for the movie..."

Kim Jong-Un is even better. The very first time he picked a bass up, he played Donna Lee at 240bpm and then played the whole of Victor Wooten's back catalogue twice, and wrote three symphonies. And everyone stood up and clapped, or else.

I always wear the band t-shirt to the venue and wear it while setting up, but I change into a different one before playing.

Agreed, but sadly it's a bit late for prevention.

UPDATE: Saw my GP yesterday. It is definitely trigger finger. The fact that it has happened simultaneously in both hands make me quite the rarity, apparently, especially as it's my index fingers. I've had a steroid injection in the base of the left index as it's the worst of the two, if it's going to work it will take effect within a couple of weeks. Right at the moment, it's as sore as f***. This is annoying as I've got a rehearsal tomorrow night and a gig on Friday. I've bought a couple of said stretchy finger protectors, wearing one at the moment on my poor aching left. Typing is, errm, interesting with it on
