Maybe more than you need but there is a Basswitch IQ DI for sale on here. It'll let you have two channels one with 4 band eq, one without eq, (you can also plug in two basses and switch between them) it has a transformer DI out, dual fx loops one series one parallel. One of these loops has a phase switch to make sure the pedals are in phase and is blendable with your clean signal. Oh yeah and you can switch it on of off and there's a mute switch. Super versatile unit and great as a 'control centre' on your pedal board. I'm not selling the one on here but I do own one and it's a fantastic unit. If it's in your budget you'll be getting a heck of a lot for your money. Here it is in context on my board. The bass plugs into the HPF/LPF (red pedal)>Broadcast> Basswitch input. The Cali 76 is always on in one loop and the Bass Soul Food is in the blend loop. It's a cool name for sure and I get the connection. It's a fine bass and you'd think Fender would have been all over this rather than the Dimension which lets face it is a terrible name for anything!

I think RayJay or JayRay is a better name for this style. Can you pm me with the ballpark price? Really quite tempted to do this style of bass. Thinking Nordy Bigman and a Darkglass tone capsule eq. #Mahoosive

Check the fxpedalrental.com thread here in the effects section. Darren has mentioned that he may look into getting the Cali76 as part of his inventory. It's a fantastic sounding pedal and well worth renting to try in your set up.

Yeah I think it's a great sounding bass. Possibly too coloured from the drive but there is a decent core tone in there. I'd be up for trying one with those t bird pick ups. Quite like the idea of a p bass with Tbird pick up in the sweet spot a la mine lull. This would be a great alternative

I loved my PC-2A but it got robbed years ago. I was holding out for the RMI but got a big box Cali and recently changed to the Cali CB. What an impressive box. I pair mine with a Hudson Electronic Broadcast which provides the Transformer element and adds a really nice quality to the tone of the bass. Sorry for the derail!

Jus Lukin fx pedal rental.com have the Q strip available for rental and the new Geddy Lee pre amp. Why not give them a go? The Q strip looks like a great tool to have on a gig. Be pretty cool to demo this sort of set up before taking the plunge - having the PD/RPM and Qstrip on a board would make a pretty impressive noise!
