1. Tentative hold on this for now! I'll update once it's fallen through again *sighs*
2. One of my top 3 p pick ups. Happy with my current P set up but this would be a great upgrade for someone!
3. Hard to justify I’d never convince Monique to let me have it. She may get jealous!
4. The great gear just keeps coming. Do you own a high end bass shop? 😀
5. Andys video should be up any day. I’m quite looking forward to hearing his take on it. Bump!
6. Our singer emailed everyone yesterday saying he wasnt booking any trio gigs next year only full band shows otherwise this might well have gone already. Hope you are well sir.
7. Richard is a solid bass chat member. Honest reliable and a purveyor of fine gear. I’d have no hesitation buying this from him as my previous dealings have been flawless. Rich I’ve got a ‘63 avri otherwise this would be high up on my radar. Deal with confidence folks! davross No offense but do your research before you jump on a trusted member.. I appreciate you’re new to the forum and want to help others out, point out a potential fraud etc but tut tut school boy error.
8. This thread needs video clips......and schematics 😀
9. Hope to see a demo from Andy Bassist aka 0175westwood2 from this parish quite soon.....bump

11. I run my comp in the loop of a Basswitch - wonderful pedal if you have the space on your board, especially if you play DB as it has an input impedance selector so you really get the most from piezo pick ups. dannybouy I always considered the PC-2A to be like plugging into the 60's - like a good old studio console. I just heard it as a plush bloom to notes with great bottom and it just added a 'vintage quality' to my p bass. Now I have a better understanding of how studio's and studio gear works I think I meant the bass just sounded like it was 'mixed' to sit in the mix. Bloom and bottom for all the grooves! It'd be interesting to hear how that bloom worked with an upright.
12. Lovely!! You having a full stable change?
13. I played a Nexus something or other in Guitar Guitar and thought it sounded good. Can't remember which one but it basically had everything you'd need live or in the studio - heaps of I/O and a lot of control on the front panel. I recall thinking there's a lot of stuff for the money as well as it just sounding good!
14.
Now now Krispn, you know you miss the 76G, despite the CB and the Hudson Broadcaster in tandem. Keep the big box! If you get some hiss get a decimator!
Honestly I’m really happy with my 76CB. The led metering is the only thing that’s missing but that’s what ears are for.
15. Worth it just for the peli case!
16. The big box cali is great but the bass specific features of the CB are really cool. I made the switch and while I miss the big footprint, well it does look pretty cool, the dry blend and HPF are kinda cool to play with. Be great if you could A/B the two. I was gonna get the big box TX but found a work arouond with a second pedal which had a TX in it. I'm really happy with how they sound!

Which DI ?

Maybe more than you need but there is a Basswitch IQ DI for sale on here. It'll let you have two channels one with 4 band eq, one without eq, (you can also plug in two basses and switch between them) it has a transformer DI out, dual fx loops one series one parallel. One of these loops has a phase switch to make sure the pedals are in phase and is blendable with your clean signal. Oh yeah and you can switch it on of off and there's a mute switch. Super versatile unit and great as a 'control centre' on your pedal board. I'm not selling the one on here but I do own one and it's a fantastic unit. If it's in your budget you'll be getting a heck of a lot for your money. Here it is in context on my board. The bass plugs into the HPF/LPF (red pedal)>Broadcast> Basswitch input. The Cali 76 is always on in one loop and the Bass Soul Food is in the blend loop. Separate tuner out Some great video reviews and demo's here: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=basswitch+iq+di
18. It's a cool name for sure and I get the connection. It's a fine bass and you'd think Fender would have been all over this rather than the Dimension which lets face it is a terrible name for anything!
19. I'm gonna send it to Andy bassist from this parish to demo as I know he enjoys a bit of filth plus it might turn a few people onto it. Still available if y'all hadn't guessed!
20. And still isn't. I think folk are put off by the price and the unknown quantity that is FEA Labs. If this pedal was a Fuzzrocious, EQD or a COG creation there would be all sorts of scrambling to get a hold of one.. It is the quietest pedal I think I've heard heard. Not one sizzle of white noise or hum when engaged. Looks like Im gonna have to get into a proper heavy band just to use this beast!
21. It's not a done deal yet
22. Brevity!
23. I think RayJay or JayRay is a better name for this style. Can you pm me with the ballpark price? Really quite tempted to do this style of bass. Thinking Nordy Bigman and a Darkglass tone capsule eq. #Mahoosive
24. Trade pending
25. Looks like a solid well thought out unit. I do like that speak on type power connector.
