1. Laptop has been broken so no audio I'm afraid. Would swap for Cali76 TX version only if you're up for it?
2. I think I've managed to guilt Apple into fixing my laptop so off the market for now I'll update once the outcome is officially confirmed.
3. Price drop now that guitarguitar have slashed the price in these £415 shipped in the UK
4. Embra is a top guy. One of the reasons we all use BC is dudes like this. But with confidence!
5. I've no real excuse for a 1200w power amp (800@4ohm) but damn if it doesn't deliver on every gig. I've got headroom for days and when I kick I'm my drive I've no qualms about clarity or presence. Does it sound better than my class D? I certainly think it's got more grunt and it has heaps of power handling. Do I need 800 proper watts on stage at a pub gig? No but me and my drummer have a great time every gig and wouldn't change a thing. Do I need 800w on a theatre gig to fill a 2000 seater room? Maybe not but it helps 😀
6. I run a Cali-76-G and love it. I don't use the germanium drive as much in my current set up and would love to do a trade for the iron core TX version FOR the colour it adds. I'm not that precious about an über clean signal and the added oomph form the TX quite appeals. I have a pretty good sound as it is but I'm willing to take a bit of colour from a 76-TX
7. I was just offered one of these in a trade!
8. Hey! Have you heard demo's of the Tech21 Bass Fly rig. I know it has a sans amp and a comp too. Might be something you could work with and close to your budget used I've used an mxr M80 in the past for a more modern drive sound and it's a good unit. I'd agree about the ODB-3 it can sound a bit thin but at low gain it's not bad and can stack well with other pedals. My old pedal board had a loop pedal with an ODB and a phat phuk stacked in one loop and they worked well together.

Sold

Forgot about this one Would trade plus cash for a phat phuk
10. These are the XL so long to begin with. Plenty of wrap so should fit most 4+1 basses
11. I saw you're band name up in Finnegans gig board will you be gigging with this rig in there?
12. Trust me the only reason these didn't go on my 4 string was the 4+1 cut length otherwise they'd not be for sale.
13.
So what's the big rig??? I have the TTE500 also, and I've on the fence with it to be honest. It is great, but there is just a little something missing.
The TTE is a fine head which I've happily gigged for ages but I remember deciding once I got my car I was getting heavy transformers in metal boxes And after a few changes this is the rig! Same cab as I'd use with the TTE (sorry the 212 is in its cover - it's a neo cab and is super light btw) but I do sometimes use a small fender 110 combo for super small gigs. The big rig sounds fantastic and it has power and headroom for days. It's 800W@4ohm and the cab seems to sound better with volume. I've used it in pubs and theatre gigs and it's been perfect. On a side note.... I tend to lift correctly, only take what I can reasonably manage and try and keep myself relatively fit and healthy. I've done loads of manual handling courses with work, only lift when I need to and use a roller case for the 'rig'. I normally only use one bass at a gig. My two main gigs suit each bass. The 5er on the choir gigs and the 4 string on the other pub gig.
14. Another flawless transaction. Nick you're a gent!
15. Surely this bass should be renamed the Hack Freeman JJ 🙃
16. Bump These are pretty top notch strings .......might have to get a new bass to put these on if there's no takers 😀
