1. Looks really good. I now want a "grainburst" bass!
2. Now I have GAS for a Roadie II. Thanks!
3.
Thanks guys, thats my favourite pic of my GB too it even made it onto the GB website.
+1 Simply stunning.
4. Normally not my kind of thing but I think he has executed that incredibly well. The maple board really makes it stand out from others of its ilk. Not 100% sure about the wavy line inlay. I always think that with exposed pole pieces, stainless steel dot markers would look great. To sum up...I like that. A lot.
5. I think the anodized would be very cool.
6. It used to be here... www.axesrus.com/decals.htm ...but it's not any more. I'm useless aren't I? Found that by googling, and finding a Basschat thread about it. Basschat. Centre of the webiverse.
7. Very nice. But we do need these bigger pictures!
8. Yup. Loose windings are one cause I believe. Not 100% sure on the technicalities. Try this test... Plug the bass in, mute the strings and firmly tap on the body of the guitar in various places. If you can hear it through your amp then they are microphonic.
9. Could the pickups actually be microphonic? I agree with the above gentlemen on the points of clank and fret noise, but not on handling noise. For me that does hint at a microphonic pickup. I had the same problem on a guitar many years ago and had the pickup repotted which solved the problem.

Oops...maybe I was too distracted by the snot green, malformed scratchplate to get the link right! I do think it's smashing though! All I have to do is get one of those job things, or sell 200 odd t-shirts and it will be mine! Actually it won't. It will at the bottom of a very long list of things I need to spend my money on first.

12.
Did you read my post? sigh.
No.
13. Helloooooooooooooooooooooooo! First of all there could be a couple of reasons why the action is too high. It may just be that the bridge saddles are too high. So nothing fancy required there, just use the right size allen key and lower the saddles until you get the action you want, or you get too much fret buzz. Also, it might be a neck relief issue. Or both. So after you have lowered your bridge saddles, if your action is still too high you might need to adjust the relief. The best guide for that (IMHO) is here... http://www.garywillis.com/pages/bass/bassm...etupmanual.html If you are still struggling to get your perfect action you might need to look at dressing the frets....but that's another story. One important thing to remember is that any adjustment to the string height will affect intonation so you will have to look at that too. Hope that helps a bit.
14. Was it actually 15 years ago, not a wedding and in West Brom? No? Wasn't me then.

I have no money. I am totally happy with my SX J. Therefore I was trawling through Ishibashi U-box and found this... &tid=list3"]http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/u_box/ubox.cgi?...p&tid=list3 It is beautiful, reasonably priced and if someone on here doesn't buy it I will lose all respect for you all.
16. +1 Join a band...and write songs.
17. Has anybody said tort yet? No? Tort.
18. They also do the bass version.
19. Great bass in the best colour. Message ends.
20. Very nice. I have permanent GAS for a white BB. The others are cool too.
21. Although I haven't got any myself because I am too cheap buy them...ball ended Allen keys are supposed to be much easier to use for truss rod adjustment. Due to the fact they can be inserted at a slight angle.
22. Here is a good basic guide to truss rod adjustment to get you started. http://www.garywillis.com/pages/bass/bassm...etupmanual.html Intonation just involves a tuner, adjustment of string length at the bridge and a bit of patience!
23. No pics, no..... Oh. There isn't one yet.
