So, with the second 1100s up for sale - this is the stable. 1024x in Caramel Brown (think I’m going to have a nice celluloid brown tort guard made for this) 1984 BB300 - YOB and a version of my first ever bass - This will wear flats soon. 414 in Orange Metallic, added a 1024x pickguard, sort of makes it an unofficial 414x And in all honesty, I’m done. Unless a blue 1600 arrives. But even then I’m not sure I’d bother.

New G&L Fullerton Deluxe P and J basses

I wanted to try the JB Fullerton at PMT in Salford the other day (was actually hoping they’d have a Yamaha BB P34. But it was a busy Saturday morning with all the kids playing muse (I don’t miss working in a guitar shop!) so I just bought some strings and went on my way. i wouldn’t mind a look at the tribute jb in LPB with blocks, looks cool. -

Every time one of these comes up I think “I should’ve bought one of these” - I played the prototype years ago, the synth patches hadn’t been finished at that point - they’re really well made instruments. -

I’m much worse when I’m not in a band. I need to scrap my eBay, Facebook and basschat accounts though - it’s like being in the sweet shop all the time. Once the bb1100s is gone, I’m done buying and selling. Self imposed ban.

Got this on my recent “buy everything Yamaha” spree. It’s lovely, the second time I’ve had one. but without a pedalboard I keep forgetting to take it, and I’m not using it much. the guitarist also uses lots of weird and wonderful sounds - I don’t want to get into competition. I’ve just obtained the foot switch for my amp where I can bypass the eq or add the shape control in and out so that’s enough for me. £60 posted in UK. -
£400 plus postage. Would like this gone soon as I’ve got to feed the credit card - got other stuff to buy (none bass related, unfortunately) -

So the 1024x has arrived and I would like to see this bass in the hands of someone who will enjoy it as much as I have. £450 but will entertain near offers.

Think it’s called an attitude standard. it’s a p bass/bb200 in the shape of a Billy Sheehan model. It’s pretty lovely in so many ways - I was watching it, but a certain 1024x has stated I’m not to own any more basses. An old band of mine a regular support act for mini tours of the south who’s bass player had one. A well made P Bass with a twist.

I’d put a wanted ad up for a very specific Yamaha. @Funkmeister got in touch and brought his bass over. What a true gentleman, lovely bloke - and delivered a great bass I very much look forward to playing more. deal in confidence, I’m not sure he’s much of a regular on here but deffo knows his stuff - sounded like a great player too when he had a much about on my Jazz. anyhow - thanks Alan, lovely to meet you.
