So @Dankologyand I are in a band together. this is our new single. I wrote this after my old band exploded following a gig. The Drummer and Singer decided they wanted to carry on with me and I asked if @Dankology would be interested in sharing guitar and bass duties. Wouldn’t let me type before - no idea why. Good gig last night helping some mates out. they’d agreed to the gig then their bass player moved to a different country so I stepped in. Learned 10 songs, played 7. wasn’t my best performance; first time going ampless and I was a bit thrown by that. sold out Gorilla in Manchester, the main band were half our age - it was like looking at a sea of my daughters mates 😆 Felt very old.

Met him around the time of the stones reunion, he just mooched in to the shop, we spoke about neck dives on Jack Casady basses. He was lovely. great player and a big hero to many.

So if I found a cream or white telecaster body you could achieve a similar look? oh god…eBay is winking at me.

Sign me up would love a baritone telecaster with that finish!

That custom shop was cool - one of a run done for Sting so he could retire his originals by all accounts… Sold at the time because it didn’t suit my band or something mundane… it’d really work now. Meh. Life…

Yeah - a 4 string “wav” version (albeit maple rather the graphite) would be cool. but then again, looking at my bank account, it’d need to be in 10 years time 😆

I’ve become an artisan of selling sometimes at a profit, mostly at a loss (after modding for modding sake)…and on occasion selling at a break even. I’ve seen stuff I’ve sold sell for more and less than I’ve let it go for. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything I’ve sold go for 2/3 times what I’ve sold it for - which would nark me. At the moment, selling anything at any price seems a case of pot luck so fair play to anyone who’s managing it. I have 3/4 things up for sale now and I’m just getting trade offers…

They’ve had a strat body of mine for a week, it’s been up and down the country twice and is now going back to the seller - apparently 🙄

Cars with silly exhausts… Sounds like they’re broken. we have an industrial estate nearby and the local The Fast And The Furious tribute act met up last night…🙄
