    A lovely (accurate) set of reissue basses from Gibson… Like meticulously accurate, not the “it’s almost right…but…” that they seem to do. A Yamaha BB3000 reissue

    I need to practice more - that’s all it is. I should also stop identifying as a bass player with a guitar; I’ve actually played guitar in some form or other as long as I’ve played bass…but now I’ve taken on the guitarist role. I need to practice or write down what works for solos. To inspire me further…I did this

    Dare I say it… I need to get better at guitar… I’m actually pretty adept. But I forget things - muscle memory is natural on bass… And an album. By the end of the year.

    Found some old cassettes from late 90’s “hazy” jam sessions - we thought it was the peak of finding the new sounds (Maaaahn!) In reality it was a sloppy noodle fest…awful unlistenable turd. 🫣

    How do - have just sold a bass without this, I’ve realised it came with extra saddles. I would keep but I’ve no bass to put it on - and although I’ll most likely get another bass and need one at some point - I can’t afford to keep it hidden in a drawer. £75 posted in UK

    Yeah - if it doesn’t sell, I might put it to use on guitar, it’s was a godsend with the last band I filled in for as well as my last band. I need to look at the pedalboard and Power supply too. They’re nothing fancy, but they work well and haven’t let me down. Probably £10 for the board (no bag) and £20 for the PSU, 10 outs, 2 of which are selectable voltage isolated outs.
