1. Epiphone Thunderbird. Bridge managed to pull itself out of the body under string tension.
2. Quick update, LS-2 procured... still sounding out overdrive options. Looking at...

Pro Co Rat - but unsure if this would work in combination. Although it does sound great in isolation
Darkglass B3K - just need to find one... perhaps a little more at retail than I might have wanted
Zvex Basstortion - but does this do anything better than the old Distortron to justify the extra cash?
Will keep updated
3. I was going to say Scott Devine - but that's my partisanship, as I have met Scott in the flesh. I really hope this guy picks up the bass one day, so I can vote for him. Rude language ahoy!
4.
And my favourite Japanese instruments after Atlansia, Jersey Girl.
For the nation that invented lean manufacture, that's a stunning example of craft production - some brilliant insight on show in that link. The attention to detail on the inlays is superb.
5. You weren't wrong, chief - that is gorgeous.
6.
... and at one point I was told it was on the same frequencies that the RAF used!
Well into Spinal Tap territory here, next thing you know you'll be storming off stage
7. Makes it that much harder to sell, eh?
8. Yeah, some great offers - this is why I love dealing on Basschat. No one's offered me £50 or their Sue-Ryder-with-a-bent-neck yet Black one is superb. Noticeably heavier, though.
9. Am just waiting for the inevitable offer of a Warwick Dolphin All PMs replied to
10. Haha, a timely arrive - recognise the black one? A kind offer, however, but I'm still holding out for...
11.
missing your G3? BSB
Kinda yeah, but kinda no - taking a vintage guitar gigging was giving me kittens.
12. I think the current price reflects my strong penchance for bad jokes I've been trailing the price of Stingrays on here, so was aiming to pitch this around the same mark - stalking my prey! Also, we had an identical bass on here only recently for a little bit more - but, hey, I hope this is keen. Risingson was the previous owner of this one, so I'll ask him to come here and comment on the condition of the bass, so you can have more than just my word. Pics, as promised... including the pair of them. The black one was a wedding present so, barring any insane offers, will be staying
13. I need to take some pics this evening, but in the meantime here are some specs.
14. All gone now, guys - thanks for looking --------------------------------------------------- Pics to follow, but wanted to get this posted before I changed my mind. I have a lovely Lakland Jazz 4, in natural with blocks and binding. Body is in superb condition. There are a couple of dings to the rear of the neck, which I'll try and show when I get some shots. Priced for trade @ £600. Looking for a Stingray 4 or pair of Subs, with cash to balance any deal. Outside bets would be Gibson, BC Rich, etc. Can include a case if the incoming trade has one also. Can ship, or meet locally in Yorkshire. I do travel between Yorkshire and the Midlands with work, so there are some options around # trading.
15. The old ones were DiMarzio. The bit this thing is missing is the old BC Rich how-many-switches?!? pre-amp.
16. Credit to Dingus for the John Charles spot
17. Pint! I mean, there's got to be nothing stopping us finding a good pint.
18. Really? I guess this is the brilliant, and totally subjective, thing about Basschat - I found my Mock a little awkward, but returned to my Eagles every time I used to have the exact bass, and you'll have noted the same thing as me - it does dive. It's fixable, however, with a little tinkering. No worse than any Thunderbird owner has encountered, and I got a sense that the neck on this could be used as a weapon with any ill-effects to its playability; much unlike the Gibson Thunderbird, at least. The pick-ups, tuners and bridge are your likely points of upgrade.
19. In this weather, I keep thinking "Quattro next time..."... Good buy. Enjoying it?
20. Where are you based, chief?
21. Action looks a little high
