  1. Very nice. What does this one weigh please?
  2. Thanks for the replies, glad it's not just me then!
  3. Or is periodic reposting the only way to keep a wanted post visible? Thanks
  4. I think the N7 serial indicates 1997 rather than 2008.
  5. Is this tuner weight for a new Stingray Special or an old style Stingray?
  6. I've been meaning to experiment with adding a couple of small inline resistors (as above) to a standard VVT wiring setup, but I believe that just backing of both vols slightly has the same effect. Backing off both vols certainly allows for smoother variations in tone when blending the pups. You do lose a bit of volume but that's easy to make up at the amp input gain.
  7. Hi Chris, sorry to ask but what's the weight of the remaining PJ body? Thanks, Ian
  8. This short article about tube rectifiers and power supply sag is an interesting read (well it was to me anyway!) https://reverb.com/news/does-a-tube-rectifier-really-make-an-amp-sound-better
  9. Thanks, not quite big enough for my small mixer desk I'm afraid. Cheers anyway and GLWTS
  10. What are the internal dimensions? I looked at the link but couldn't see any specs.
  11. I've not tried to upload audio but you can attach files so I think that should work.
  12. Hearing a demo on bass would be really useful if you can post one?
  13. Thanks for the weight
  14. I'm interested too and would love to hear a demo of it being used with bass. I've scoured youtube but can only find demos with guitar, usually as a front end to another valve amp. Can you provide a quick bass demo with this one?
  15. This might help - https://www.electronicstalk.org/polyester-vs-polypropylene-capacitors-which-one/.
  16. What is the exact weight please? An accurate weight in gms if you can (not bathroom scales).
  17. Yes please, can you dig out the scales and add the weight?
  18. I'm surprised this is still here, they're amazing little combos. Work well for upright and BG and pack an incredible punch for such a small package. I have an old 80s 200MB model which has seen a lot of action over the years and is still going strong!
