1. TC and LEB will attend.
2.
Has anyone else played one of these beauties, would love to get a second opinion on how they sound. Free bump!
Somewhere between a precision and a stingray I guess. The pickups on mine have huge amounts of output.
3. Didn't like the other flyer. We're sorry to inform you all that darts will not be available on this evening as we're playing on the oche.
4. I'm in. Just need to decide which hat goes with a Terrortones gig.
5. Gaye Advert
6.
The second I saw the Topic title, I knew it would be you ... What's the event?
135th anniversary of the battle of Little Bighorn of course.

Stadium gig!

8.
A big + 1 for the 'get in touch with the other bands' re using gear - I assume that the eng will most definitely want you to share the basic kit if at all possible (minus snare, cymbs, pedal, extra stands etc) and possibly bass rig at least, so the right thing to do is get in touch ahead of the gig to sort / ask. Enjoy yourself, or at least look like you are...........nothing worse that a morose band on stage!! Don't mumble down the mic when speaking in between songs.........project and seem confident. Gives you good presence on stage! Take your time, have a pint of water with NO ice in it to sip between songs (or beer if that's your thing..........not mine when I'm playing though....personal preference). Tune - ideally have one in your loop / chain so you can silently tune between songs. Take a spare lead or 2. Get what you NEED in your mons.....be nice!! Easy.........good luck. Enjoy.
This is all very good advice. I've shared bills with lots of bands who've done a lot more than one gig who ignore a lots this list and it shows.
9. Get the white Travolta one
10. Interestingly eclectic line up. Never played with indie kids or funksters before. I hope they're ready for us. We've got a killer 45 minute set ready. Fiddler's Elbow gigs July
11.
Get the white or black one. <boredwithhissunburstprecisionsmiley>
To be serious I tried lots of Precisions three years ago when I bought mine. The one I liked best was in one of the colour schemes I like least unfortunately. It's very interesting that CNC mass produced stuff can still feel different enough to make a definite perceptible difference between what should be identical products. Maybe sunburst is better for 'tone'
12. Get the white or black one. <boredwithhissunburstprecisionsmiley>
13. I've played this bass. It's a corker. Sorry you have to let it go. HJ buy it back so I can borrow it
14. Hard case for the Precision. Gig bag for the Retrovibe because I haven't got a hard case that fits it.
15. Fiddler's Elbow, NW5? We're playing there 8th July to see how it goes out of the suburbs. I really enjoyed the last couple of gigs there as paying punter. Good FOH sound and a nice atmosphere.
16. Have a good one Mr C. I'm unavoidably detained this evening.
17.
That`s a shame! But, I`m sure you`ll walk out of there with something tasty. You`re just tracking aren`t you,so maybe he`ll be around for the Mix.
Nope. He's engineering as well. Whole shhoting match. Boo.
18. "$%^&! Producer held up in working in Italy. Looking into a plan B now

Bands Wanted
I think we could handle the peanuts, but otherwise, I think not...
They better be KP then. We don't do supermarkets own brands.

Bands Wanted

We're gigging 4th September and 1st October so the 9th/10th September sound like the only dates that would fit. We want 10 grand, 6 bottles of Krug and a packet of dry roasted peanuts.
21. Looks OK I suppose...... If you'd have said £5,999.98 I might have been ineterested.
22. I'm so completely over excited and impatient to get in the studio it's unhealthy. We're in for a 12 hour session to do 3 maybe 4 tracks and come back for the vocals later if required. Steve Lyon (Depeche Mode, the Cure, Amplifier, etc.) will be at the controls which is nice. I'll take a car full of gear and just end up using the precision through a sansamp BDDI as normal I expect. Wish me luck.
23. I'm trying to re-arrange for this. I'll do my best.
24. Interesting question. I only tend to fixate on the bass player if I'm not really enjoying the band. Strangely some of the bands that have left me cold recently have had really good bass players. Just not any good tunes. I always do a bit of gear stalking of course.
25. My Orange Terror but with a Tech21 pre amp, a programmable three channel footswitch with built in tuner like the TC one and a non nuclear powered DI out. Maybe a backlit panel with some multicoloured, pulsating LED's. I like the tarts handbag look on stage.
